Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

Looks great and I agree with your comments.
The 40th is very well made; parts are clean, precise and beautifully finished.
I was reluctant to order one at first but now I'm happy I did.
Mine is #2045. :D

Firebrand Tires for buggies on street

Has anyone used firebrand tires on their off road buggies to run on hard surfaces? They look to have a number of tread styles and a low offset that might work on older chassis. Here is one example. Guessing they're the width of 4wd front wheels. They have a wider set that might match rears, if anyon...

Re: Chris VanAir 2016 inspired build

So, they appear to be dimple died?... problematic because nothing would attach flatly to the chassis in their locations. Got to looking at the reflections trying to figure out what's going on around the trans mount when I noticed... the reflections on the chassis are on the wrong side compared to th...

Re: Chris VanAir 2016 inspired build

I agree, definitely looks like a chassis skin, and the anir trapped around the screw/holes.

Re: What are your plans with your re-release RC10T?

Yeah looks like aluminum which is tongue in cheek why I was saying plastic wheel nuts. It wouldn't surprise me if AE would tell customers to put steel nuts on. Lol

Greetings from sunny Arizona

I recently found and dusted off my 35 year old RC10 Graphite and took it for a spin. Amazingly it ran and even the 30+ year old Ni-cad batteries still took a charge. Since then I've been scouring youtube and rc10talk for info so I can do a thorough refresh on the car. The car is currently in pieces ...

Tamiya Blackfoot Kill Bill P#ssy Wagon Project

This next build will be for all the 90's movie lovers (back when movies were great) I always loved the Kill Bill movies Franchise and as a truck lover I just went crazy when I first saw the scene with the P#ssy Wagon. The bright yellow and red just screamed 90's, so being I love to build trucks, I fe...

The 1/10 Buggy Wheel Database!

So after much annoyance with manufactures not posting the specs for their wheels I'm starting to populate a list of wheels and their specs myself. Measuring the outside width, and backspacing from the mounting surface to the rear of the wheel along with putting part numbers and links if applicable. ...

Team Associated Team Car Ad

For 1990 Team Associated offered racers the Team Car, their second update to the RC10, just a year after they released the RC10 Graphite to compete with the Team Losi JRX2. The Team Car came in two models, a black anodized version of the original aluminum tub chassis or the Graphite's carbon fiber c...

Re: RC10T2 Basher

Nothing special velcro, just the thin stuff. Pretty sure I found these pictured at Walmart. Regarding cleaning it, when I get done bashing I spray the rig with a compressed air gun, also pull the velcro apart and spray it as well. Works really good getting dirt and dust out of the velcro.
