RC10 graphite cc

This will be my first time building a new in box rc10 in about 30 years. I am building this up with a graphite chassis I picked up and didn't have a specific build for. IMG_3473.jpeg The front end went together well. You can see some small voids in the front A-Arms. The pieces are opaque, not clear....

Re: RC10 graphite cc

IMG_3499.jpeg IMG_3500.jpeg This was not a great build. I wouldn’t recommend this kit to anyone that doesn’t already have an rc10 collection. The instructions are poor, all of the descriptive text from the original is gone. The pictures are ok, but the text would really be necessary for a first tim...

Re: Difference between re-re 6 gear parts and originals

Hello, I just purchased my first gold pan restoration project and had a few questions specifically about rebuilding the transmission. I have not cracked it open yet but I have a sneaking suspicion that it was "rode hard and put up wet" many years ago. My first question is, if need be can ...

Here is a photo of it where it’s going to stay.

I have located a body for this. I’ll leave it like this for a bit and get the body on it when it’s time for a decor change.

Re: Goldpan DS conversion

IMG_3533.jpeg
It turned out nice. I did this front quick and will take some time to paint up the final one.

I have a new servo and some rear foams to try on this once I mount the shell

Re: Goldpan DS conversion

I realized that I am using a servo mounting on this car I hadn't seen anyone else use yet. The servo is hot glued to the chassis. I put down a generous about of hit glue from a glue gun and place the servo about in the right place. Then I used a heat gun on the underside of the chassis to heat up th...

I took a trip to Chino and had my ultra molded buggy autographed by Richard Royal. It was a good time.

Re: SC10b body

Think hard and come up with a great paint scheme. Blank bodies are for painting.

Re: B3 spares

Hi folks, just picked up this B3 and I wonder if anyone knows how hard it is to get things like shock shafts ect? Hoping to run her (indoor only) just not at the expense of not being able to get any spares I might break if I do. TIA. It's one of the easiest cars to get parts for. A few clones of th...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I found a new to me shop that’s been there for 14 years. So I had to patronize it. My son deserves a new body for his slash. G-dang those chassis are tough. I also picked up a 78 chevy body for my new sc10 build, deans connectors are so expensive now, and some body posts for the c10. https://i.post...

Sometimes it’s a lot of effort

Sometimes you get a mediocre result with a lot of cost and effort. IMG_3676.jpeg The bulk head brace is good. Some voids but ok, the battery cover… the pressure was too low and the moisture was too high. Also unfortunately the mold looks like it got some edge damage. Still decent results . At least ...

Re: Any tips on reducing a collection

Yeah this didn't work. This year I am making a conditioned shed to hold my collection.
