For the body I am going for a retro version of my current scheme.
And the B74 is how my "modern" scheme looks.

Re: Rebuilding a B3
Your paint work looks amazing. Do you use liquid mask? Thanks, I used to paint for a lot of people but it takes too long for my current life :) For this body and when I have the time, I draw on the body - transfer to tape - scan the tape - clean up on the computer and print on a vinyl cutter and th...

Re: The Weird Re-release Scorpion
Thanks
That´s an AYK Bobcat repro body from TBG - It didn´t fit over the roll bar on the Bobcat, so it went on a Scorpion instead

Re: HG-P407 "Bruiser Clone" Arrived Today!
I found the same thing , you can't use a tall tire or it fouls the arches unless you cut them back ugly , I'm currently experimenting with 1.9" wheels that I 3d printed off Thingiverse , it just allows you to use more choices that clear the arch while still having some tire height , the down si...

Re: HG-P407 "Bruiser Clone" Arrived Today!
Did a little rear bumper work. I never liked the stock one. Too wide and sat too low. I trimmed down the stock bumper and made some small plates to attach the bumper mounts on top of the frame rails. The results won't win a concours show, but it is very effective at protecting the rear of the body w...

Re: RC 10 Stamped A #6370 Dogbone Replacement
I have used 02003 HSP dogbones as replacement. The length is just about right, and they are much easier to find.

Tamiya Hi-Lux Monster Racer NIB
I was a bit heartbroken when I had to sell my mint Hi-Lux build last year. Link here: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=44190 Well, finding this shrink wrapped truck definitely makes up for it! It's pretty crazy that a 30 year old truck like this is still sealed in the box. This thin...

Re: Protech Bodies
Thanks for the nifty graphic depiction.
Thought I could add my finding on the Penguin Protech body.
I can't do a graphic like Doug can but I sure know how to steal and modify it.

Re: Rebuilding a B3
bodies look fantastic!! Any chance you can snap a pic of the B2 and B3 bodies side by side? Dressed similarly, it would be an excellent comparison resource here on the board.

Re: Rebuilding a B2 (A series of builds by rcpelle)
Getting more parts together, but I am missing a few key B2 parts. The chassis is B3 and so is the front top plate. It has new B2 composite arms, the correct rear arm mounts with the smaller screws and only a number 3 written. The correct rear chassis plate, but it is worn and stripped for anodizing ...

Re: Rebuilding an original Worlds (A series of builds by rcpelle)
Coming together and not like a new car, but like a racer prepared for the next big meeting.
