Re: '70 Challenger / Cuda
Again, it may linked with both experience, calibration and settings. All my recent prints are actually PETG for many reason : it stands much better the heat than PLA, it provide strength closer to nylon than I expectd (I have a 44B chassis running with PETG prints without a single broken parts), an...

Re: '70 Challenger / Cuda
So, you're calibrating to each filament roll or does each PTEG manufacturer provide calibration recommendations for their brand of PTEG? Sorry for the dumb questions; this is all new to me. I was only aware of the need to "calibrate" for dimensional accuracy. Maybe there's an instructiona...

RC10 parts with set screws instead of E-Clips
As you can see there is a cylindrical part added on these RC10-parts, so you can use a setscrew to secure the hingepins. Very comfortable, no more lost E-clips. And it is very easy to make your own hingepins, no need to make a groove to seat a clip, just buy 1/8" steel rod from a hardware store...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
I took this pic yesterday while trying to get back in the habit of getting my steps in during the day. This would be from the south side of Potterfield Bridge looking north across the James River to what would be considered the western portion of downtown Richmond, Va. The bridge itself is kinda coo...

Re: Polycam - 3D Scanning
Is it possible to import the scan into say Fusion360 and use it like a buck to create a reasonably accurate surface model? I have no experience with the process so I'm asking. Yes it is possible to import scans directly in Fusion360... but it's clearly difficult to deal with them : a mesh resulting...

Re: Polycam - 3D Scanning
I believe it's worth trying. BTW, could you please post another link to that video? I can't see it in your original post for some reason. thanks. The software and scan app is free, I think it's worth a try too. Might take me a bit to get something with good LiDAR though. Here's a direct link to the...

Re: a thread for BambuLab machines
I've had zero issues with abs, that's my go-to for basic functional parts. I think you will be just fine.
Now, it is a bit stinky, really needs to be dried, and you definitely want a little glue down ... But otherwise I'd say just run the print..

Re: a thread for BambuLab machines
Thats the glue I use as well. As far as drying, I have ran them straight out of the package but we are pretty dry here as well. Id give it a shot, but ideally id recommend drying it

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
I'm waiting for amain. At least I get points there  Wait... So AE effectively cloned (stole) your design and now you're gonna buy one? Shouldn't they send you a car as partial payment?? Clearly, you're taking this better than I would have. :) This kit costs $120 more than a Pro CAT, so the...
