Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance
I'm on the fence with this one. While the concept of a carbon plate chassis is very cool, the RC10 Graphite car was universally rejected by the racing community bitd. Also, I've driven mine and it just doesn't handle as well as my tub cars. It would be nice to add a Graphite re-re to the collection...

Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance
Local dirt off road track was too. They weren't used much by the big names but weekend racers loved them

Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance
The original graphite car was 6 gear so this is that in essence. I mean if we are talking what is best for performance I don't think these, cool as they may be, would be a contender today. I also don't think Lett and the guys we like to name here have nearly any real say in it. These decisions like ...

Gold GT
I wasn’t the first, and soon won’t be the last…. I started this build a good while ago along side my gas buggy. Just ran out of clean hardware then lost motivation. I wanted to wait until the truck was finished but it’ll be old news after everyone has a gold chassis. Now that Associated is releasing...

Re: Laser cut metal gears?
Closest I can do is a printed steel gear I made for our fireplace damper
If you do the chat thing with SCS you can send them your file and they will let you know if they see any issues with their process.

Re: The next rere... a GT?!!
If AE is serious, they really should do what they can to help customers source reasonably priced nitro engines that drop in with no modifications. Engine availability will certainly impact sales for the new GT. Sorry for stating the obvious. I'd venture a guess that a motor will become avail...

Re: Laser cut metal gears?
IIRC Send Cut Send recommends router cutting for gears as it's more precise and leaves a better finish. Then there's the $35 minimum order. Could have it made out of plastic since a dozen will cost as much as one... spares for a lifetime.
