Ronbo's Re RE 870C to Cliff Lett YZ-10 Theme EXODESIGN chassis
Got the EXODesign carbon fiber chassis with white wheels for the Re Re 870/YZ10, and possibly Works 91 (picking up Saturday). I like the box, pretty nice. Going to go with Cliff Lett 90s ROAR car as a theme, as it was what inspired the paint scheme (team car) I ran when I had my original YZ10. Which...

Re: Oops, bought a clanger ZX
I do have what I think is a ZX-R, but im not an expert could be a distant but it does have the solid nylon Layshaft, and Ball diffs front and rear. And the Narrower chassis. The suspension arms look to be ZX though, and the ,Fibrelyte towers and steering linkage (not bent at the ends alloy?) Shock ...

Kyosho Triumph & Lazer ZX-R
In 1991 Kyosho released two 1/10 electric off-road buggies to the market, a revised 4wd Lazer, now in ZX-R guise, and the all new 2wd Triumph which replaced the venerable Ultima buggy: Triumph: Double deck carbon fiber (US) and fiberglass (Japan) chassis with adjustable (20/25/30 degree) front kicku...

Re: Looking for some vintage Kyosho parts; Alternatives?
For the Rocky/Raider, I started a small substitute parts thread here. It won't solve all your problems, but I found some Tamiya outdrives, PN OP-218, that'll substitute and I think are a bit more durable than the original kyosho parts. Unfortunately my CVD solution is probably no longer possible to ...

Jrx Pro of my youth
Along with the Jrxt body that I rescued from my folks' house, a Jrx Pro body returned home. The original chassis was given to another family member, so I'll have to build up a new chassis to sit under the body. I've had this basket case, mismatched buggy in storage for many years. Much like the Jrx2...

Re: RC10 B1 Mid Motor Laydown Buggy
Making some progress on this build. Definitely not a beauty queen. 😁 But it is going to be a strong runner. Decided to go with a 10T nose plate and a spare 3Dprinted front arm mount leftover from my Detroit buggy build. RPM arms and a trimmed shock towers (top was split) are added. An old set of alu...

Re: RC10 B1 Mid Motor Laydown Buggy
No runs yet. Need to wedge this ESC in there somewhere. If I had stayed with a brushed motor I could have easily fit the electronics but I got this deal on the brushless and I had a coupon.

Doesn't that partially defeat the purpose of moving the motor forward?Frankentruck wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 6:24 pm

Re: PB Mini Mustang and Maxima Belts
I recently ordered a few (10) from the supplier I get my Ten4 belts from. I wasn't paying attention, I actually needed the coarse belts but got fine belts. They are 318 tooth 4.7mm wide mxl. If anyone in the usa wants to try them and see if they like them, I'm happy to send out a couple. Probably no...
