Re: 5-link jrx2 runner
So far it's coming along nicely I need to dye some parts for the rear 5 link before I can assemble it, I bet you can't guess what color  . The rear bulkhead is 3d printed by me and this is what allows the rear to be completely made of Turnbuckles. The hole that would normally capture the hinge ...

Re: Tecnica’s RC10 — 2020 VONATS BUILD (maybe)
Might order 1.18” B44 rear shocks to limit the down travel a bit, and it should be 👌 That can be solved with inner and outer shims on the shock shafts! And it should be indeed... because that's way too much travel on this suspension, the car will be crazy lazy and roll a lot before anything happens...

Re: Tecnica’s RC10 — 2020 VONATS BUILD (maybe)
So I got the B4 CVA axle in the mail today, and when compared with the Custom Works Medium Lenght CVD, it’s the same lenght, the problem is, with the b4 hub and Klein arms, it’s too short, and with GT hubs and Klein arms, it’s a tad too long, For it to work properly, I used a 2.5 mm of shimming or s...

Re: RC10GT (holeshot chassis build)
I figured I’m building something I normally wouldn’t build with this chassis, I might as well do something I wouldn’t normally do with The body. Just need to trim a little on the rear tower and pop some holes in it. That’s for tomorrow though.

Re: RC10GT (holeshot chassis build)
Shaved the rear tower so the body could sit down just a hair in the rear. Had to lean the top of the front shocks in. But it fits well enough for a shelf queen. I know I’m not supposed to like the modern stuff. But I do like the low slung stealth look this body gives the truck. B349C04F-0A87-4B34-9B...

Re: Orangemazda’s project JRXT
They are RPM parts. The rear links and side mounts are wider.
Garage Hack wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 9:47 pm That is awesome! Thanks for sharing it. You mentioned a wide 5 link set. Was that a RPM option or a T (truck) Losi variation?

Re: My RC10 (runner)
<RC10 B3 Final> I added the shaft boots. I changed to use the center hole on the hub and outer hole on the chassis. The car becomes quicker with 1mm shorter upper camber link.
