Re: Jrx2 Proformance - Kit build w/out hop-ups

It's going to take more effort to cut this one than it did on my CC RPM Worlds build. Fortunately this body that Jumpin' Jack painted is the perfect match for this build.

Jrx Pro of my youth

Along with the Jrxt body that I rescued from my folks' house, a Jrx Pro body returned home. The original chassis was given to another family member, so I'll have to build up a new chassis to sit under the body. I've had this basket case, mismatched buggy in storage for many years. Much like the Jrx2...

Re: rc10 GT engine question

Buy something to run unless your building a shelf queen, paying that much money on an engine is silly unless you were doing a box art build, and even then the boost chamber isn't "correct" Basically any rotary carb .12 -.15 with side exhaust and an OS/threaded crank will fit (non SG). If y...

Re: rc10 GT engine question

I'm going old school on mine, a real MADE IN THE USA K&B .18 engine. They are available from Mecoa and I have a machined head coming for it since mine came with the sport head. The pull start fits the non pull start mounts perfectly, but needs a pull start header which is a hard part to find cur...

Re: rc10 GT engine question

Just get some reasonably fine sandpaper and lay it on something flat like glass or melamine or wrap some sandpaper around a flat stick/block and sand the edges. Once the anno is removed give them a light polish and your set.

Re: Ronbo's Masami/Cliff Lett Worlds Works 91

Finally updated and finished the car for now. With the exception of a few tire/wheel and hardware details that is. After research, I have come to the conclusion that the pics that inspired me for the Masami Works 91 body (thanks Rubin painter at rubrixrc.com) are of his 91 JMRC winning car. Once I g...

Re: Ronbo's Masami/Cliff Lett Worlds Works 91

Soo, after researching the best I could with pics concerning the IFMAR Worlds 91 Works 91 cars, I've come to some conclusions. I thought it odd that Masami wouldn't have the same chassis setup as Cliff Lett's 3 view pic that's easily obtained during a search. Well, from close up in these pics, he di...

Re: Ronbo's Re RE 870C to Cliff Lett YZ-10 Theme EXODESIGN chassis

Well, here it is at his latest setup. Still need to finish decals and maybe get another full set made for spare body. Special thanks to Ruben at rubrixrc for the YZ10 lower tray. The decals currently on the body are mostly originals, with a couple from the new MCI sheets. (never said I was good at p...

Re: ** 2025 RC10Talk.com Roostpalooza - April 12-13 - Insanity Race Track - Boonton, NJ **

I’ve seen the pictures and videos so far on facebook and everything looked like a ton of fun and so awesome! Let’s have a rundown of cars and equipment. What was the overall motor/ esc preference? Brushed or Brushless? Tires and wheels? Batteries especially connectors, bullets or other? Makes and mo...
