I keep coming across this site while researching my reassembly effort so I thought I would make a few posts about it while I am at it. It started life when my dad bought a Jrx pro se In I think 92 then decided that he needed a "better one" which meant an excuse to buy a 2nd RC so we could ...

Re: JRX Pro SE Reassembly
Love this. Appreciate you posting and looking forward to seeing the rest. You ever found anything that breaks down the difference between the x2 the pro and the pro se? I really have no idea this is the only Losi I or my dad ever owned technically its not really even mine its dads. We used to get R...

Re: JRX Pro SE Reassembly
I realized I didn't post any pics of the homemade shock towers and figured you may find them entertaining. My dad used to get polycarb plastic scraps from work and when we broke shock towers we would make replacements on the band saw. 2 of them in the picture I made as a kid and 1 is for the RC10 te...

Finally raced a clod
Finally built up a clod to race with and raced with the MMRC yesterday. The 17 turns were not keeping up well in the pro-mod setup. I had a ton of fun though.
Had an old original Clodtalk decal so I had to add it!

Stealthboy2600's gallery
Hello all! I just finished up a 40th anniversary RC10 classic build and wanted to show the results. I have some modern electronics in it (Quicrun 10BL120 G2 & 3652SL G2) and decided to go with the gunmetal grey color I have used on a few recent builds. My original RC10 from the late 80's was don...

Re: for those not on Facebook... FanRC injection molded parts rolling out
I’m not on facebook so I’m unsure if it’s been mentioned or possible. Has anyone talked about the possibility of injection molded suspension parts for the NIX 91 stealth cars? I’d guess doubtful as the need for them is really low. I was just rearranging some stuff and seeing my stealth car it’s the ...

Re: for those not on Facebook... FanRC injection molded parts rolling out
My bottom load shock caps aren't the same as the classic rerelease ones that I have. Associated did change the caps design at some point, correct? I didn't think they changed the thread but I do recall that some caps don't cross generations well. I want to say it was the early bodies that use washe...

Summer 1993. A Works91 in little used condition was for sale at the local hobby store where me and my best friend came regularly for a visit after school. Normally they sold Tamiya stuff only. From first view this Works impressed me like a spaceship. But unfortunatelly not my parents. Thinks got eve...

Re: What are your plans with your re-release RC10T?
I plan on building mine for light running. It'll get full bearings for sure, and thats it, box stock! I had the idea of picking up a modern 13.5 combo for it since it is technically a modern release kit, but instead Im going to use electronics that I still have from back in the day, a novak m5 rewir...
