Thought it was time to reignite this thread and throw up a couple of pictures of my PB Ace. As I've posted elsewhere I'd love to recreate the mid motor PB Ace at some point, very little information to go off other than the one pic in an early magazine which showed the prototype car with the mid mot...

As has been mentioned above... use a modern sponge insert to reduce or remove the flat spot.... unless it is for the shelf, in which case, it is only flat on the bottom!!! The Dynamite tyres were overlooked in the UK a little i think, which is surprising really considering how generally 'spiked' the...

I'm thinking, paint it red, with tape stripes on the outside...... that red fogging seems pretty bad. Could mix it up somewhat, with translucent red backed with something interesting.... but it doesn't look like much chance of being able to paint light colours on the inside.
