Re: 3D Printed Stainless Steel Outdrives
The extended versions would also solve the "Lethal Weapon in a Kyosho/Tamiya application" problem, as their outdrives were a bit longer. I'm really hoping these work out!

Re: 3D Printed Stainless Steel Outdrives
I've had parts printed in SS before at work and I can tell you, they are hard as f****! I was barely able to tap them! So I don't think strength is going to be an issue. I like to start as simple as possible, which is why initially I just copied AE's design exactly. If they're issues I'll see about ...

Re: Worlds Re-Re Gearbox
Yeah... Of the two kits I've built so far... one spun but was rough... the other was total junk. So I pre-emptively ordered a handful of extra cases, idlers, topshafts... :-/

I am working with the manufacturer to see if they can make the sides equal length for us. Currently the entire stock is...

Re: Steel and Aluminum RC10 Outdrives-- Coming Soon!
Thanks for the info/update, Jeff. I'd really rather have these made in the USA outdrives than keep chasing AE ones.

Re: Which exact black Rit-Dye to tint old AE nylon? (And how?)
I don’t know how to link you to the best place to get it where your at, but the part number is 02227 and it’s called Rit Dyemore Graphite. They are all over eBay but no idea with shipping which is the best price. It’s also on Amazon but I’m not sure if you have Amazon You will dilute it with water, ...

Re: I May be Insane - 6-Gear Short Arm Content
I ran this car for a little while, using the jelly beans and 'stock' re-re classic tires. Took 3rd out of 6 in stock buggy, using a 27t brushed as well. A lot had to do with me understanding the car and being able to toss it through the corners. I didnt clear the big doubles like the modern buggies,...

Stealth trans case ASC 6565 vs ASC 6564
I hadn't notice until today that the old style 6565 case is still available. This probably has been discussed somewhere on the forums before but I'm not able to find it. Setting aside the differences in idler gear bearing placement, is the old style case better? In other words, would replacing the k...
