Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Made the drive from Pukekohe to Taranaki (about 4.5hrs) to go to WOMAD. World Of Music And Dance. 3 days of international cultural performances. Full of fringe dwellers and weirdo's, my kind of place. It's probably the most chilled event I've ever been to, very family and so relaxed Recommend it if ...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
About 50 miles due west a large uncontained wildfire with the sunset backlighting the smoke.
High winds from the west were blowing ash as far as the house.

Fierce battle between the Chained Frog and the Zealous Zerda! Eventually had to vote Zerda , I simply know how much time and effort it takes to make a zero original parts replica in this way and I love the Zerda as a car too . It's how I voted as well. That's a lot of work and it looks great.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
This seems like it should be in Canada, maybe being chased by a statue of a cobra chicken. But still, I know fine art when I see it.

Re: Kamicosmos RC10 4WD Build
Rear A arms, drive shafts and a bunch of turnbuckles tonight! Rear A Arms in. https://i.imgur.com/xmMk2ia.jpg I built the shafts per the instructions: 3 shims and the blue spacer on the outside (flat side out). We'll see once shocks and tires are on if the whole 'about to fall out' syndrome is happe...

Re: Tamiya Novafox/Factory Works No Fox Given
Started assembly https://tcphotos.net/images/2025/03/19/IMG_8486.jpeg And I’m into the Novafox kit almost immediately https://tcphotos.net/images/2025/03/19/IMG_8487.jpeg https://tcphotos.net/images/2025/03/19/IMG_8488.jpeg My kit was missing the bits for the front body mount (Which I’m not bothered...

Re: Tamiya Novafox/Factory Works No Fox Given
Grabbed an hour or so after work in the hobby room to do a bit more. I’m doing my best to avoid the standard kit screw pins in this build so its good to have these on hand https://tcphotos.net/images/2025/03/20/IMG_8496.jpeg And fitted, they look great IMO https://tcphotos.net/images/2025/03/20/IMG_...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Today was a great mail day. I received an ebay purchase I have been looking forward to. The car is an early A stamp in extremely good condition with a Futaba rx/tx. The NIB Stealth transmission is still in the plastic wrap. I'm not sure on year? This was my 55th birthday present to myself 😎 20250321...

Finally! The holy grail of vintage Schumacher 2wd collectors. A carbon fibre chassis pan thats drilled for all variations of Topcat/Cougar/Cougar 2/Cougar 2 works.
Its a happy day!
