Re: Tamiya Sand Scorcher - 2010 Reissue
Got the driver height corrected. https://i.imgur.com/8CMS0b4.jpg Despite the helmet, without any iris or pupils painted on, he's merely Born to be Mild. I'll get better at painting eyes someday and fix that. https://i.imgur.com/ngRTque.jpg Didn't add a 3D printed engine or passengers, left the US ta...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - February 2025 ** - Winner - 1300GT
Had the kit when I still lived in Maine, but didn't build it until now because I got cancer. Jesus cured me, so now I don't have cancer anymore, but a renewed motivation to complete all the kits and parts cars that were sitting in my storage. I never had a real desire to get an Ultima until I saw Sh...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
I took this pic yesterday while trying to get back in the habit of getting my steps in during the day. This would be from the south side of Potterfield Bridge looking north across the James River to what would be considered the western portion of downtown Richmond, Va. The bridge itself is kinda coo...

Re: Polycam - 3D Scanning
Well... People dream about scanner being efficient for parts... But it's not that practical : for used parts, it also includes the part deformations due to usage. The scanner would provide a quick copy of a part with a bent, for example. Your eye, knowledge and brain are fantastic and bent are taken...
