Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Stopped by to say hi to my dad this morning. The bone yard was looking very Scooby Doo-ish.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Now I've learnt that something I always dreamt would make life easier is not as great as imagined for a couple of reasons, I'm talking window masks , today was my first experience with them and my hopes were high for genuine Yokomo masks from a kit used on the body in the kit I mean what could go w...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

I was the only one there so I said out loud, "Dad, your ol' bone yard is givin' me the creeps." He would have liked that. 8)

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Yesterday technically. I was staring at the Avante while we were watching Part IV in the bar. Thought the lighting was good for the paint job. Not my car. Back shocks could use some thicker oil.

Re: On the first day of Christmas...

OK, I'll bite. 8) I'm very much looking forward to this coming weekend. I have 2 nephews, 7 & 9. I have 2qty of everything shown in the photo below. There comes a time in every young mans life where they need to connect the battery leads to the motor and let the learning begin. :D It doesn't mat...

Re: On the first day of Christmas...

R/C items at the top of the Christmas list were all for my 8 year old. He's at the point where he wants to start doing the work to his RC truck on his own and give it some upgrades. So he has RPM steering blocks, caster blocks, bellcrank, front & rear arms, along with a brushless 3300kv motor an...

Re: Schumacher CAT XL 2WD (T402) for vintage racing

So, on to the last chapter before test drive. Took an old body shell painted in the eighties, cleaned off glue, touched up some damages, added a new wing, and some old decals. Black disk wheels for Schumacher from JC Racing will be used on the track. Didn’t have narrow front wheels, so I cut down a ...

Re: BloodClod's Belt-Drive Yokomo 834B

How time flies... it's been 7 years since I last posted on this project and since then Yokomo has even rereleased the 834B! lol. This project was put into storage as I never got the belt drive to work as well as I had hoped. The main issue was that the drive belt I was using came from a touring car ...

Re: SG Coyote improvements

Finally, the electrics are installed as neatly as possible. There's not a lot of room in these chassis'. Everything clears the main driveshaft. I've just got the parts needed in the post for the last tuning option. Hopefully, the Coyote will be finished and running mid-January.

He last visited December 5th, so he's alive and kicking. Just like the song from Simple Minds. Their second best tune.😎

A pair of Micro RS4s.

A little while back I was digging through some old boxes and found my Micro RS4. I bought this with my first paycheck from my first job out of high school. Haha. Over time it had a lot of mods thrown at it. It's held up okay but the body, not so much. https://i.imgur.com/b1x3Z08.jpg https://i.imgur....
