I had already drilled the chassis for the standard steering servo mount location, so this building it as a standard gold pan seems right. Well, sort of standard.

Finished the front end (...finished?) with some Dubro 2-56 sized ball links that accept 4-40 thread turnbuckles and a pair of Yokomo 42mm steel turnbuckles. The front end is an improvement if you're used to a stock Hornet front end, and it is good enough for some bashing fun now. . 1000011737.jpg . ...

I wish the Hornet will raise up into battle for 3rd. The anodized parts look better the more I look at. The nerf and sway bar seems originally belong to Panda / Graupner Cyclone. But the shocks do not. Despite that, the colour matching is very good. Maybe the chunky back bumper prevents better place...
