Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
This came today after a long trip from Canada. The auction had awful pics and I was bidding because I saw the side of the Kyosho, and I could tell there was a 2nd car, just didn't know what it was. Turns out the Kyosho ended up being a Turbo Optima Mid SE with a Speedworks 427 motor a 7 cell Kyosho ...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2021 ** - Winner - LoboNYC
This is a custom legend based build I did for Noah with the help of a good friend and racer. Noah helped design the Lego theme wrap on the real legend car of another local racer that gave him the entire car as a canvas for his imagination to run wild. We had the wrap scaled down by Vital Graphics so...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2021 ** - Winner - LoboNYC
Wild Willy had a son. His son grew up with the same crazy and wild passions as his Dad from the early 1980’s. He felt the need. The need for speed, and crazy wheeling same as his Dad. He grew up with the crazy wheelies of his Dad’s antics. But he wanted more. He wanted real 4x4 action. He built his ...

Re: Cat identification help??
Coxbros1 that’s ace thank you.
Coelacanth yeah me too... it doesn’t worry me at all. A drive shaft, 2 upper wishbones and a couple of brackets will make it a complete chassis. Just need to know which chassis I’m ordering it for as I want to keep it as original as possible.

Re: Cat identification help??
I actually get a bit disappointed when I receive a used chassis that's in TOO good condition...like, "What's there for me to do here?" Dirt and funk cleans up easily. Broken and missing parts, stripped threads, CA glue, ancient double-sided tape residue...now THAT'S when I go "WOW!&qu...

Re: TAG Pro 10
I gave the shocks a thorough going over with sandpaper and metal polish after de-anodising them. The rears had suffered from years of spring gouging and really needed it. They're not perfect but they look great compared to what they used to look like. Note the brass spring collars. Pretty nifty.
