Re: Hyperdrive H10 super glue special
Tonight I worked on the old Vette body trying to clean up the mangled area behind the rear window. After thinking a while about he best way to hide this mess was to use the left over lexan from trimming the rear wheel openings and CA them over the old mounting holes. It also strengthened it as this ...

Re: SG Coyote differences
From what I've read, when the original plastic diff, crown and pinion gears were used, the failure point always seemed to be, either the diff gears shredding, or the gearbox pinions turning on their shafts as they simply slid on. When the pinions failed this in turn lead to the crown gears being mut...

Re: 1986/87 Supercharge Hotshot
Well i will drop a couple of pictures in here to show you where it is currently at. Here's a front-on shot before cleaning as we were trying to work out how the upper front shock mounts might work. They are kind of odd as they have to be able to pivot in all directions due to the steep angle of the ...

Re: Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas as well, to everyone! I'm guessing with this pandemic situation happening, many of us are in hobby mode a lot more than usual, when the holiday season typically has us abandoning our projects...the forum seems to have a lot more activity going on than usual!

TAG Pro 10
I scored a couple of very well used Pro 10s nearly two years ago. They'd been converted to nitro, consequently, both the motor mounts were hacked. A lot of the parts are re-useable. I have a few new parts to add to the mix as well. This will be a shelfer as I have an SG Coyote that I will run. Plus ...

My Unhinged Bigwig
Merry Christmas! Hope everyone had a great day with family. I've owned a few Bigwigs, both in the late '80's and one I built one about ten years ago, by buying every part until I had a complete kit, ready to assemble, in front of me. That one was fun. Couldn't help snap a re-release up. I originally...

Tamiya or not Tamiya
or maybe 'A Bodge Too Far'. an ebay purchase from France that I might have paid too much for but I see hours of tinkering ahead of me. https://i.imgur.com/8Z3EhbN.jpg A Grasshopper transmission, Holiday Buggy body, and 'customised' chasis by someone pretty good at sheet metal work. https://i.imgur.c...

Re: TAG Pro 10
New bulkheads, chassis spacers/servo mounts fitted plus the diff housings. The shock towers are from Factory Works and are top notch. I have the originals but they are well past their use by date. The drive shaft linking the front and rear diffs isn't fitted yet.

Re: ** Build of the Year Contest - 2020 ** - Winner - Asso_man!
Thank you so much! I’m really honoured to win this year’s contest with this special tribute build to Gene Husting. It was a very close win though and I want to congratulate all other contenders with their beautiful entries. The idea of a calendar would be fantastic with a part of the proceedings tha...

Congrats David.
I also want to thank everyone that has taken the time to enter a vehicle this year, and to all of those that take time to vote each month.
