Re: Fingers crossed , breath held

Thank you all , she was silent and withdrawn on the way home but then came out to walk the dogs , animals always relax her , and she was able to talk about the day and its looking like she will be OK tomorrow .

Re: Fingers crossed , breath held

She went in fine this morning , once it becomes a routine its going to be fine , I have 4 kids , 3 have Aspergers , they like routine , hate chaos or spontaneity , as they get older they cope better with things that are unplanned but the assault really set her back and she developed severe agrophobi...

Re: Yo-clone-oh Dogfighter

To begin with I think I'm going to make parts myself , if I went the shapeways route I'd have another 6 months development and countless test pieces that I'd have to pay for , then modify the design and get printed again ....... Don't know if I can face that and I do know I can't afford it so "...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - September 2019 ** - Winner - Hcp22

That was agony but in the end I love real race car livery's and that Gallop in the JPS Lotus colours is stunning , really feel terrible about only having one vote !

Re: Yo-clone-oh Dogfighter

No breakages in two days , that's seven runs and I'm starting to treat it like any other car , I've cartwheeled it several times , run it into the fence a few times , I've got a little course set up with a jump , its not a huge modern jump and its on grass but I'm not babying the car anymore , the g...

Re: Yo-clone-oh Dogfighter

I guess the sprockets could be CNC cut in metal or Acetal or even a harder nylon , so far I've only stress tested the Kyosho chain compatible sprockets as I only have one Yokomo chain and its very comfortable on the shelf , if anybody wants to beta test a set of Yokomo sprockets and is willing to pu...

Re: Yo-clone-oh Dogfighter

Its really OK , I've kind of known from the start that I'd need to do it and I've been procrastinating for a while now  the other thing is that I'm really not that self confident , my wife always says I under sell the stuff I do , the custom airsoft guns I make for the WW2 reenactment communit...

Re: Yo-clone-oh Dogfighter

This will probably need a tweak to the gearbox to make it fit , possibly a dedicated gearbox that's adapted around the bearing supports , for those who don't recognize it it's a Scorpion diff with a 3D printed interlocking ring gear that matches the 834b gearbox https://i.imgur.com/ICapfibl.jpg The ...

Re: Yo-clone-oh Dogfighter

I've made some modifications to the gearbox and the Kyosho Scorpion modded diff will now fit and it will still accept the stock diff , just out of curiosity I tried to fit the Scorpion diff in a genuine gearbox and it very nearly fits ! With a little material removed from the bearing support on one ...
