Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Made a stop at the not-so-local HobbyTown to grab a couple parts for mAdMan, and ended up with a few others for myself.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Not all today but I picked up the T3 rear chassis plate this afternoon. I wanted black chassis plates for a box stock truck but somehow ended up with blue ones

I was going to use the blue GT set but I'm not so sure now.....

Re: Who remembers the Chrysler Turbine car?

mAdMan wrote: Fri Feb 16, 2024 9:53 am Was that 427 SOHC?
SOHC's were sold through dealerships but not used on the production line. That was the loophole that Chrysler used to get them banned from NASCAR.

The S/C used a detuned version of the 427 side oiler, which was used in NASCAR and in the GT40 (Ford vs Ferrari).

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I got what I believe has been the hardest part for me to find. Also in my honest opinion the single most important aftermarket part for a B4/T4. I break a lot of parts but the worst one to break even over the idler or a snapped CVD is a broken chassis at the kick up. Maybe it’s never happened to yo...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I picked up all the remaining older AE shocks and springs they had left in the old bins stashed away behind the counter. I didn't go through...

Re: New transmitter wheel for Sanwa

I like the JConcepts ones, extremely comfortable. Only thing that I don't like is the grey color.

Re: SC10b body

picked up a couple myself when I got the scb. Buggy still in the box, bodies up in the lexan piles. Used scb showed up a lil while later...still in the box...yeah, too much going on to get to any of it.

I vote for painting it. 8)

Re: Practicing some space themes on lexan

Awesome! You got good at making planets quick! 👍

Tough call on the decals... Depends on how big they are against the body, but I generally like the look of Associated's logo over PROTOform's.
