Re: PK Corally 1/12 Car Build

My goodness what a build... if you were into electric on-road in the mid-80's, this was THE desirable car... So much different than the others, so expensive, so fast with a few Euro titles under its belt in the first years. Then Spashett winning the worlds with it... Thanks for sharing this superb b...

Re: PK Corally 1/12 Car Build

Really well documented build! But why oh why did they "copy" slotted screws also from Schumacher???

Re: Kyosho Inferno MP5 Restoration / Build

First class build. Great work.

Great find on the blue wing. They are not easy to come by.

Re: Kyosho Inferno MP5 Restoration / Build

Hi K-Max. Congratulations on a superb build, you have done a fantastic job on your mp5. Love the torsen diff, I used to run an mp7.5 with Fioroni diffs all round. It was good for some tracks, not so for others, but gives the full bling factor. The fact this is your original kit makes it even better....

Re: Kyosho Turbo Inferno - New Rebuild

I finally mounted the blue wing and made a few other small changes. I am hoping to get a front cf brace to complete this car. I still can't decide on a paint theme and color.

Hello all,

Glad to share in the joy of the hobby. This is an all original 1994 YZ-10 Super Dogfighter YZ-10 with original electronics.
Discovered recently during the pandemic, that this is the car shown on the bottom of the box.

Re: Turbo Optima mid SE

Hung a few more pieces on the chassis to check alignment, adjust tie rods and check for anything that I've missed so far. And I put the rear shock tower on correctly    The springs look a lot better after their tint job. The car still needs to come back apart for bearings and C-hub...

Re: Kyosho Inferno 1992 (MP3) Build

Very cool find and build. Some nice upgrades as well. I'm also a big fan of the Inferno series. The vintage blue headed OS engines look right at home on these buggies.

Great photos and thanks for posting.

Re: Kyosho Inferno 1992 (MP3) Build

Thanks Dadio. They are indeed made of asbestos.. thanks for pointing that out, I'm going to change them out just to be safe. As long as it's not releasing dust it's safe enough , for the shelf you could clear coat them to seal them up , if you want to run it though they have to be replaced to be sa...

Re: Kyosho Inferno 1992 (MP3) Build

I have them on several of my buggies as well. Agreed, as long as they aren't being used, there is no dust being released. Also, my cars get stored in plastic bins.

Re: Kyosho Salute Project

Nice, I love those Cross upgrades. The Optima chassis in its stock form tends to push and understeer a little under acceleration, so hopefully your widened track will help it steer better. That's what I noticed when I made similar modifications to my Barney Optima, which also has a slightly widened ...
