Re: Another Buggy Project - B4.1 Worlds Car

Searching the internet and a local hobby store, I was able to source many of the parts I would need for a future restoration, including the + 8mm chassis. I found a hobby shop online with a couple of these chassis still in stock I picked up for retail pricing.

Re: Another Local Hobby Shop Score

Not "cheap", but cheaper than what ebay sellers ask for originals. https://www.avidrc.com/product/5/accessories/3506/Associated-Aluminum-Topshaft-B4-Stealth-AV10062-accessories.html I was checking those out too. I have a couple spare Associated B4 Top Shafts now, but will probably have to...

Another Local Hobby Shop Score

Not sure if this post belongs here, but I wasn't sure where else to post it. I just got home from another visit to the local hobby store. I found a B4 Top Shaft! That was what I was after all along so I could avoid eBay pricing. Pretty excited to find the B3 body, the B4 FT Front Brace, front and re...

Another Buggy Project - B4.1 Worlds Car

Well, the danger of having a loaded PayPal account results in buying things I don't need. I haven't had a buggy project in quite awhile, it's all been trucks for the past few years. Until this recent purchase, I only had 1 buggy left in my entire collection, and it's a shelfer. I really wanted a B4 ...

Re: T4 from Local Hobby Shop

Generally the 10T and 10T2 bodies fit the T4's stock body mounts, the SC10 front body mounts on the T4 give you slightly more length if you need. Here's mine on a T4...... it has a slightly different front tower but that wouldn't matter. 20210822_170632.jpg I tried and tried and didn't have much su...

Re: T4 from Local Hobby Shop

Nice. I have the same Jconcepts body, could you post an up close pic of your front body posts? I had this old Kyosho body and wing mount kit laying around and found two body mount posts in there that were meant for 4-40 threads already. I drilled the holes deeper, then cut the tips off, then just m...

Re: T4 from Local Hobby Shop

I picked up a JConcepts F-150 body designed for an RC10T hoping I could make it work. It took some effort to get it to work, but I am happy with the results. Now I gotta paint it. I bought a cheap Harbor Freight air brush kit to experiment with. I have never used an air brush before so it should be ...

Re: T4 from Local Hobby Shop

Nearing the finish line! Couple more small things and body/paint and it'll be ready to run! Pretty happy with the results.

Lavigna wrote: Tue Jan 04, 2022 6:53 pm Cool build you've got. I've become a big fan of the T3/B2/3 series over the past year. I am nearly done with my T3, and currently working on my B3.
That's nice! I believe you picked up a B3 from me in 2021. My all new build I did similar to my T3 build here..... Kinda miss the B3 now, lol.
