Re: Project XX

Well I have decided that I'll just stick to the hinge pins I have, I don't really have time to wait for more stuff from the states to arrive as I really want the car up and running for next month and I'm still way off as it is... Hopefully my Sabula Tech order will arrive today. Edit... It hasn't, s...

Re: Project XX

I think it will be easier to stick to my 5 spokes, when I can actually find some 'natural' ones that are all the same colour...

Thanks for the link :)

Re: Project XX

Hmm it will have to be 2.2 then, are there any wheels available similar to the logo wheels? Might sell my logo ones then, we'll see.

Re: Project XX

Yes they do a rear to match but I'm not sure how you'd mount the wing. I did think about it (still am) and deduced that you'd probably have to permanent mount the wing using for example, schumacher type wing mounts, and then cut off the rear of the shell that goes over the motor. Unless of course so...

Re: Project XX

Front tower: http://i.imgur.com/QYuR6O8.jpg Just waiting for my stuff from Sabula to arrive before I can fit it. I just had a root around and found some logo wheels, is there any way to get them to fit the xx? Rears fit perfect and actually do not catch on the rear arms like the 5 spokes. I know the...

They do look good and were really cheap too, grab some if you can. Perhaps the seller could post some to the states for you if you have no luck in your local hobby shop.

Re: Project XX

Have run in to a problem with the rear arms. With the carrier in the outside hole the shafts are too short. With the carriers on the inside hole the arms scrape on the inside of the wheels. I'll have to find some longer shafts (xxx?) or cut the ends of the arms off, or find some kind of spacer/adap...

Re: Project XX

Hehe, let's make losi not war! I see what you did there :) I'm easy to have a set of the cream natural, don't mind having a go at dyeing, never tried it to be honest. Oh - I'm sure I have some slightly longer cvds, I'm not home today but can check for you later in the week if it helps???? Perhaps y...

Re: Project XX

Heh that's two of us then. I see a blue label and a yellow label, which one goes with which for you? My blue label = white as white, yellow label = creamy natural. I think they made a running change so the early ones are natural (and easily dye able) but the later ones are pure white... I see, righ...

Looking very good though :-)
