Re: How the Clod shoulda been built
Looks really great! I might have to consider doing this with such a low budget since I've got three Clodbusters. Two stock and one on a CPE chassis, with one CPE chassis sitting uninstalled still.

Re: Tamiya Blackfoot Re-release
I think it still channels the original and I like that it is getting a release. Would I like a body with the ford branding? Sure, but I'd also like the original to be sitting on my shelf. I've been considering the Monster Beetle re-re since I have the original still in a box. The re-re will let me h...

That's really surprising considering it was from tower hobbies and had the seal intact on the box.

Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (See page 1)
Nice write up. Great to see the history.
Odd though, my championship edition with original tranny did not come with a body. I ended up with a Sidewinder body on it. Not sure if it was a really short run with no body or why I ended up with something slightly different.

Re: Kyosho Shadow?
Still never built it. Got my Slash parts last year but then it met a brick wall soon after being built thanks to my kiddo trying it out. So it's still upstairs in the box.

Nice solution for the arms.
I plan on boiling mine as suggested in several build threads. Hopefully it will keep them in one piece. Are the arms still on Tamiya's Web site, or are you getting spares elsewhere?

Hope you can source everything else you need. Looks great. Box art would be awesome though.
And that's a crazy archive of RCCA, did you scan those yourself?

Look what I found! Protec II body still in the bag!

Had to pick it up for $10. Where does this body fit in the timeline of Associated stuff? Was it with the Championship edition?
Any examples of box art to try to paint this body to match?
Edit: Duh, I have the box from my championship edition...
