I would think it's a Racecraft body. The sidepod air scoop was pretty common on their shells which were modified versions of copies of the originals. This body came with a used Mid Custom Special I got a while back. I just started the resto, so when I pulled out the body I realized its not like the original. Its LWB but its just not the same. You're right about the stabilizers. You have a point there. Some of the parts should have still been on there. Notice the tie rod being used on the steering linkage to the servo (it does not go there). That is the OTW-11 S. I think the only ones that had that type was the turbo mid/custom/special and are hard to come by. 20 bucks on ebay for just one S and you need 4 short and 2 long (which you have allready...

After hours upon hours of hard work its finally coming together. This would have to be the most special built for me because its the actual first RC car that I owned at 13. I used all the original parts I had even if I had to repair them.
