Re: "Replica" of RC12e from my childhood

This came while I was out of town. Vintage TOJ body. After looking at it in person, I'm about 90% certain this is the same body we had on ours.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Not vintage, but thiis came when i was out of the country. It was 70 dollars shipped from China. For the price i think it's very cool, it has really good articulation and 4 different steering modes you can select on the fly on the controller. Its built like a tank, lots of metal components as you ca...

:D A bit larger than the Stompers, but pretty much the same idea. I haven't put batteries in yet to see how fast it is, but I bet it's faster than a Stomper also. Stompers might have had more torque. I had a BUNCH of those when I was a kid, around '81, '82. Good times. Same here! I hadn't thought a...

Re: B&B MFG out of rowland heights CA

Here's the one I had. Sadly, I think I threw it out, i could have used it to charge my 12e pack once I build it  20140111_141842_zpsae1f8597.jpg I got this charger in about '87 or so with my Hot Trick RC10 (see signature). It was a very nice charger, I should have kept it and cleaned it up. It...

Here's the sunset last night from McLarens Landing, about an hour ferry ride from Gold Coast. 20180128_183220.jpg Our Japan-Asia Picific team had a party on this private island, about 600+ people. Re: "Replica" of RC12e from my childhood

So for the body, I decided to go with that original NIB TOJ body that was on ebay. I haven't been able to figure out for sure if my car had the Can Am porsche body of the TOJ body, so I decided to go with the TOJ since the vintage one was available. Maybe someday I'll get another pan car and put a m...
