Re: MX4 parts help!
I was looking at that MX4. I recently sold my MR4BC and was trying to do the weekly club racing with that buggy. The problem is the buggies weren't designed for these indoor clay tracks that are not forgiving. I was breaking so many parts it was getting frustrating/expensive to keep the necessary sp...

Re: xx-4 winter project
Beau, I think in your buddies case the saving grace was/is he run's them weekly or so. I have read if the belts sit in one position long enough they go bad. I know I was trying to run mine regularly after I built it for 2014 VONATS. I have gotten away from that, but I will spin the wheels when I'm i...

Fresh T2 Paint
Finally got my body painted and mounted. A quick few pix before I wreck it tomorrow racing, lol! http://i1161.photobucket.com/albums/q511/Pumpkinfish20/0130151614b_zps5e8269aa.jpg http://i1161.photobucket.com/albums/q511/Pumpkinfish20/0130151614a_zps12e001bb.jpg http://i1161.photobucket.com/albums/q...

Re: Correct B2 Front Wheel/Tire
This is what Niki told me when I asked him about B2 wheels: You can use ASC9480 or ASC9481 front wheels on NIX91 and B2 if you find those somewhere. Wheel axle ASC6220 should be used on NIX91 and B2. Easiest way is to buy RC10 rere-Worlds wheels + axle ASC7459 and cut front wheel inner section off. ...

Re: xx-4 winter project
What belts did you use? I had ordered a few Losi green ones off ebay only for them to be bad. I hate to see you put sketchy ones in only to have them fail. I did buy the tough racing ones for backup. I need to take mine apart and see how the belts look after some running.

Re: First time in track with T2, need some help sorting this
Sorry for the delay in responding. I have 5 shims behind the hub and 1 shim in front behind the roll pin. Here are the photos showing each side and each pin. I bought the truck used and didn't realize how chipped they looked until I took the photos. I should have realized it when I saw the rear arms...

Re: xx-4 winter project
I did boil my bumper before installing. The holes looked like they had stress cracks around them after a few runs then eventually broke. After having a second one fail, I resigned myself to living with it, its not a shelf queen. The front bumpers are kind of rare and can get expensive on ebay. If I ...

I forgot to mention that. I had the 6 shims as per the manual and now have them all to the rear of the hub.

Re: xx-4 winter project
So far, every front bumper I have found, cracks at the screw holes in the rear and ends up hanging off. I wonder what kind of plastic was used because it feels thinner and "different" than the other plastics. Maybe a 3d printed part could improve the design/materials?

First time in track with T2, need some help sorting this out
Drove my T2 this past weekend at my local indoor clay track for the first time since "refurbishing" it. Truck was good on straights and jumping, but turns were a nightmare! The first issue is my rear universals were popping out when I drove it hard (my B2 did this as well). When I inspecte...

What shock springs are these?
I found these blue associated springs in with a group that I had laying around. I know they are Associated because the only Losi springs I have came with the XX4 I bought off ebay, lol! They appear to be too short to be truck front springs and too long to be buggy front springs. My question what are...

I've been waiting for someone to 3d print the 25 degree c hubs. Hopefully they are strong enough on track!

Fred, when you say older cars had a 30° kick, when did 25° start? With the B2? B4? What about the trucks?

B2 and T2 setups and slippers
I picked up a B2 and T2 for the VONATS this year. The B2 was absolutely pristine (all original B2 parts, no B3 at all) and needs very little to run (wing mount and wing). The T2 had a mishmash of slipper parts (T2 and T3). So I am wondering if the B2/B3/T3 slipper will hold the power of a 17.5 brush...

Re: T2 number 5
Tell me more about the lipo's not fitting. I just picked up a T2 with no battery strap and was going to get one off the Bay. If the original strap is a no go, should I use the RC10 battery cup? I was building my truck to run at the 2015 VONATS so being box stock is not necessary for me.
