Re: Chris Raceles' RC10GT from 1994 Winter Champs!???
Valkyrie was not the seller. That's right, it was radiationguy. He's a good seller, I got my NIP chassis and nose plate from him. I understand where your coming from, but for me the history is what makes it valuable. I can appreciate that, I'm the same way with guns (though I could never afford tho...

Re: Chris Raceles' RC10GT from 1994 Winter Champs!???
It's a nice truck. I watched it, but wasn't willing to pay that much for a roller, as the alleged history behind it means nothing to me personally. Valkyrie said "lots of unusual parts", but the only ones I've never seen before are the rear lower shock mounts. Everything else looks like re...

Re: T3 racer
As is always the case, your set-up is going to be 100% dictated by the specific track you're running. What works well for me in the dry, sandy dirt out here is definitely not what a guy needs running on moist, loose earth, and the fellow on hard pack needs something else still. You're just gonna hav...

There is currently one fellow offering 1/4" axle hex adapters:

Re: The NOS RC10GT build begins!
Opinion question: What engine do ya'll think I should plop in this? Gonna be a shelf queen, so aesthetics>performance. I'm leaning toward either a natural finish OS CV engine, or something with a black head, like the HPI motors. Don't care if it's pull start or not, but needs to be rotary carb and s...

Re: The NOS RC10GT build begins!
Yeah, I'm gonna have to think about that one real hard. If it was a GT kit, it'd be a no brainer, but I can't use those arm mounts, and still need shock mounts.Much better deal here

Re: The NOS RC10GT build begins!
If you are talking about the rear arms I'm thinking of that is axles, hubs, hingpins, the only think you won't use is the arm mounts. I thought it was a good deal I just don't need it No, these are brand new: http://www.ebay.com/itm/370814775257?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Re: The NOS RC10GT build begins!
I'd take that and double it. Maybe. It's all about patience, though. I waited on the chassis tub, watched several go for $40, $50, then managed to get this one for $15.50. Just gave $30 shipped for the shock towers and front bulk head NIP. I'm probably going to put it together with a lot of clean u...

The NOS RC10GT build begins!
My other thread poofed, so I guess I'll start a new one to chronicle this build. With the arrival of the chassis and a few other parts today, the build is underway. Gonna take some time and a lot of $$ to track down all the white parts, but it'll get there. For now, pretty much just a tub with motor...

Re: First timer RC10T Runner Build
I got it for under $100 shipped Which is a great deal for a guy who wanted a 10T. I'm just after white plastics that fit the GT, so a 10T roller is worth about $50 tops to me. As for making yours a runner, unless your budget is really constrained, you'll be happy with a $100-$150 brushless combo in...

Re: First timer RC10T Runner Build
Nice score!
I was actually watching that one, but it went higher than I was willing to pay, considering I'm only after select white parts that are interchangeable with a GT for use in my next build.

Re: Newbie Question
Justin pretty much said it all. Those of us who choose nitro do so because we like the realism, not because it's easier or cheaper. This: Electric these days can be faster than nitro. is a true statement, but it does fail to mention that pushing electrics up to and beyond nitro speeds requires quali...

That sure is purty! can't wait to see it done!
I have an RC10GT that tips the scale at 7.23 lbs. Doesn't look near as nice as the OP's car, but it can take a beating. Steel parts are tough......This should be called " The worlds heaviest RC10."

Re: Picked up an rc10 yesterday...!
Nice score! OK, now i recall an important question i wanted to ask the experts... What are the most common tool sizes i need to have on hand to work on this? allen wrench sizes and nut socket sizes You've probably figured it out by now, but socket sizes 3/16, 1/4 5/16 & 11/32, Hex key sizes 0.05...
