kink wrote:As per PM, keep your 1/4" stepped UJs and just buy 2.2" AE wheels I linked to. This is what I do.
Those wheels on the pm are the same as I already have in the picture.
Is the asc7380 not a part off the truck ??? Thus wouldn't it be to long for my car ??

Yes 2.2 wheels again !!!!!
I know this thread has been mentioned lots on here. But after loads of reading I don't seem to be able to find a definitive answer that I'm after. This wheel situation is really confusing ???? I'm just finishing off my RC10 restoration. And I'd like to fit some b2/b3 wheels to the rear I want to use...

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
Nobody's saying J concepts is the bad guy. But I do feel they have missed a huge gap in the market by not doing a simple dished 2.2. Especially for us non Americans. Yes I can put the b4 conversion on my car. But it just looks wrong with B4 wheels. And loses the authenticity. As I prefer my car look...

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
I don't get the wheels at all ?. Surely just making some 2.2 dished (I'm not a fan of spokes) that just bolted directly onto your RC10 without the need for adaptors would have made far more sense from a business point of view more than anything. Then you could just use any modern rubber and go racin...

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
I'd like to see some 2.2 dished wheels for both front and rear. So modern tyres can be run without needing to convert anything (basically re make b2 wheels) And a bodyshell that's as close to the original RCPS mirage of the worlds car as possible. As that was by far the best look for the RC10.

Re: Shock problems ????
Thanks for your replys. The shocks are built fine and move work properly off the car. I should explain I've built loads of associated shocks over the years. And been around the hobby since 89. It's just when I put them on the front of the car it won't allow full travel. So I'm a little baffled ???? ...

Shock problems ????
Hi all....,I'm just finishing off my re release. And I seem to be having trouble with the front shocks. As the wont compress fully when mounted on the car. Is this normal on the original front end ???? Also, and it has been touched upon on here. Do the rear shocks need 3 spacers putting inside ? As ...
