Re: American Racing Conversion Sprint Car
Great thread so far John. Hopefully you can get the chassis deal worked out because that car needs a new life for sure! It's funny that you posted the Moody Sprint Car plans, I was watching those for the 3 times they listed them, finally I hit the buy button...going to frame them up and put them on ...

MIP CVD that is 2.5"
Anyone know of one that is 2.5"? I am doing a build that uses a associated stealth transmission and I need the CVD to be 2.5". I have a CustomWorks that is 2.75" and a Associated RC10/B2/B3 that is just a tic over 2.25" E2E.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Josh

Re: Vintage Losi BBT Sprint Car build (Times Two)
Thanks, Yeah it took a lot of cleaning and polish but it got shiny! Plus the chassis was the new one that I had to measure twice and cut ONCE! I might have been sweating a little on that one. •I think the sway-bar setup is either a one-off or modified one. The reason I say that is because it is a li...

Re: Vintage Losi BBT Sprint Car build (Times Two)
Ok, so I was able to track down the RPM steering arm from a forum member (thanks!). Now I just have to track down a new hood and then rebuild/clean the nose wing. Otherwise the shelf queen is done until the weather gets a bit warmer here in MN so I can lay down some paint on it. I am thinking about ...

Re: Vintage Losi BBT Sprint Car build (Times Two)
OK, so far I have both cars torn down and the parts cleans/ready for the rebuild on the first one (shelf queen). Everything is in perfect condition besides a crack in the battery cradle and mismatched steering arm. Does anyone know if RPM made losi JRX specific steerimg arm or is this a Associated o...

Vintage Losi BBT Sprint Car build (Times Two)
So after rebuilding a few vintage Klein Sprint Cars, a good friend had a project for me. He surprised me with a BBT Losi JRX Sprint Car that he was not going to have time to rebuild, so he passed it onto me. After looking the car over I knew that I was going to need a second JRX car/chassis and repa...

Nice find! Are you going to make a body for it and paint it to match the vintage look or do you have a old one laying around?

RC10 Oval Super Stock
This past weekend I was racing my CustomWorks sprint car at the local dirt oval track and spotted this car just spanking the field in the Super Stock class against other buggies. Thought you guys would enjoy the pics so I tracked him down and took a few shots. He bought it just a while back in a gro...

Knixdad, Teas is a great track that you have to visit at least once. They have a indoor oval for winter racing and then during the summer they have a outdoor oval and offroad track. Also in the cities you can visit MMR which is a indoor carpet track that runs oval/road-course/off-road. Let me know i...

I hope they are as good as the photos make them look, they caught my eye the other day on ebay. I wonder if they are a copy of the original or if they redrew the designs...

That shot is simply amazing! Hopefully they get a class going here because it would be awesome to see a group of these on the track at once.
