Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

Amain Hobbies still lists the date at the 13th. I'll be optimistic and say that there are 11 days until shipment!!!

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

Why would Associated and their largest distributor go through all the trouble to create part numbers, prices, pictures, ect if they weren't going to have them available? When has AE ever produced a kit and not had parts support for it?

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

Tower has quite the listing of parts loaded into their system with prices. It looks like everything will be available.

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

I ordered two. One to run (at home, track, park, desert, ect) and one to keep in a box for a long while and then hopefully resell.

I just picked up a mint Novak 410M5 for $30 and am going to pair it with a brand new Trinity P2K Pro.

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

Am I right to assume that standard bore rear springs will work for the rear shocks? Will there be different springs released for the shorter front shocks?

The wheels are listed at 2.0 and 1.75. Weren't the originals 1.9 and 1.6?

Re: Comm Sticks

I found those Tamiya cleaning brushes last night, but was hoping that the sticks that you stuck in the brush hood still existed.

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

On a 6 cell nimh and the silver can his car runs forever--over an hour anyway. For motors that slow, you're going to get bored before the pack dumps. His setup cost less than $40 (motor/esc).

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

I've got a silver can in my son's B4.1 and it's really slow. Perfect for a 2.5 year old, but pretty slow to me. I'd recommend something quicker and think it would be a complete waste of money to have a brushless motor this speed. I'm thinking a 21.5t is similar to an old silver can motor and a 17.5t...

Re: What Electronics For Your Re-Re?

I bought a brand new Trinity P2K Pro brushed stock motor and a Tekin G11 ESC. I plan to run lipo with mine though and like Joey will run modern tires when at the track. I am torn between going with some vintage stuff I have laying around (Novak T-4 and some brushed stock motors from BITD) or somethi...
