Re: How do you display your cars, clear body or painted?
I definately agree painted cars look better on display. You can hardly see any detail on clear bodies, not that they had much detail to begin with  The grey area for me is I don't understand how people can cut out and paint original bodies that aren't available anymore, unless it's a box art ca...

How do you display your cars, clear body or painted?
How do you display your RC cars? Do you prefer displaying them with painted bodies or clear? Or a bit of both?

Not to plug other forums but Radio Control Car Action used to be a hive of activity when RC was at its peak, but now tumble weeds visit the forum.
I think RC Tech is the most popular currently.

Re: RC10B4.2 things to think about
Driving on a good clay offroad track with slicks is like driving a 1/10 Pan car on a gooped track. There is no other feeling like it.
You can still pull wheelies on a less than ideal track.

Although I have to admit I'm guilty of it "back in the day." What a pain in the ass it was to take the servo out to move the horn 1 spline, only to find out you put it back exactly the same way it was in the first place.

Re: Bolink Invader "off road" Dirt Tracker II chassis
I pulled my Invader box out the other day and it's not as old as I thought. The customer questionnaire is dated 1993, I would have thought the car late 80's, I'm sure the early ones were. I can't bring myself to cut out and mount the original body either, upon saying that a few years ago I've seen t...

Re: Bolink Parma Jerobee Assoc RC12 Cox finished car pics please
Small world isn't it. I assume it's the same car as they don't come up very often, especially with a box. Do you remember who you sold it to? Have any others like it you want to sell  I'll let you know first if I ever decide to sell it, surprising it has been 6 years already. At least it has go...

Re: My RC10T2 - I still have it after all these years.
Thanks, It was only raced on clay tracks aside from parking lots and other assorted bashing. I always used to tear it down and clean it after a day of bashing or racing. One of the most memorable moments I have with it were at Dansey's Indoor R/C Raceway in Vegas. One was seeing Richard Saxon but ma...

The red lines on the upper right corner of the box would give it away. Pretty nice car though.
