Re: my new ebay purchase

Check the wear on the diff outdrives and the pins on the drive shafts, that should give you an indication of how much run time its had.

Back in the early 90s I raced off road against a guy that converted a slingshot into a buggy. Not sure what he did but it was pretty fast...

Re: Yokomo RPS SE Stock Resto

That is awesome, the 1st rc car I wanted was one of those. The guy behind the counter refused to sell it to me... the guy must have been making to much money 25 yrs ago.

Re: A piece of racing history: Official 97 Worlds YZ10

The tires don't match the race.
Yatabe they used Proline 8089's or Yokomo, California they used Losi sprints..

Re: 1985's Fastest

I remember reading an article from Gene Hustings about the rc10 world titles history and it said that Jay got ride of his original worlds winning car along time ago. Guess no one will ever see the inside of the original. :(

Re: Finally found a 410K

I still have one that I used up until about 07. Used to be great in stock as I had it set to reduce the torque control as the brushed motors got hotter I had more punch than a lot of others at the end of the race. Glad I kept it as I did'nt think it was worth anything.. :D
