The build is on the slow burn as I’m waiting on parts.
I will use original universals and new Losi A7124 2.2” disc rear wheels

Re: Factory Works Ten4.1
Cut the battery boxes as per MIP manual.
I couldn’t help myself and started with some decals.

Re: Factory Works Ten4.1
I will build with classic electronics in mind. Have Sanyos 1700 mAh laying around along with a Novak M1c and a brushed Reedy Sonic motor. You guys know me by now and initially it will be a shelf queen as all my other cars. I like building cars. Nose plate reworked. Steering rack mounted along with t...

Factory Works Ten4.1
I’m glad I purchased a kit from Jeff when I had a chance. It’s been stashed since September-24, but with the current situation there’s no excuse not to build. Initially I was going for a MIP Legends feel with a powder coated chassis, but now I’m just going with a gold pan. Haven’t decided how to ori...

Re: The car that never was
I had to redesign the front shock tower.
Now it’s more B4 style.
Caster- and steering blocks are held together with Kyosho OT212 king pin bushing set.
Steering bellcrank mounted with the aluminum spacers I made earlier.
And the B4 slipper assembly is mounted to the top shaft.

Re: Jammin Jay RC10
The Jammin Jay Halsey edition is done! The final bits came in the mail yesterday. The Yokomo wing buttons. I did use transparent double sided tape on the wing for a cleaner look. This was a good build. Lots of metal work and small details to address. Some appeared under the build when you really stu...

Re: The car that never was
This looks like it’s going to be one cool piece, the cut down motor plate and guard look exceptional 8) Thank you! I'll try to make it as exciting as can be  Stepping it up a notch now.. I made a pair of spacers for the steering rack. Manual says to stack two AE 8-32 nylon nuts, but I wanted s...

Shocks built.
Shock caps are not what I was after, but is what I had at hand.

Re: The car that never was
This has bin on the slow burn to say the least… I think I’ve figured out what path to go down. A pre B4 graphite car with .89’ front shocks and stealth transmission in Worlds car black and white plastics kind of way. Need to dye the rear arms black, cut new shock towers in graphite or black GRP. Fro...

Re: Jammin Jay RC10
Looks great! I'd try to lower the body a bit more since you have the chassis cut that would facilitate it. It might be the camera view throwing me off though. 468718940_10160929077691864_1997330751379468688_n.jpg Thanks RogueIV, The body cant sitt lower unless you modify the rear shock tower. It mi...

Re: Jammin Jay RC10
Looking through the documentary “RC10 the winning edge with Jammin’ Jay Halsey” I noticed two more decals on the rear of the body. Some other small details emerged as Jay’s father Jim talked about geometry, weight distribution, tires and electronics. I know Jay and his father did many alterations ov...
