Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ joeman37- I "couldn't agree more" with you guys also. When my youngest wanted a RTR RC10B4,1, and me to help pay for it; I told both boys if they would assemble a kit, I would buy it. I got him a RC10B4.2 kit, and he did an excellent job assembling it. He now helps his f...

On the Trans, the Tower page has "Transmission: Sealed six gear, low profile configuration".
"low profile configuration" 6 gear? Interesting.

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?
"I like turtles" - awesome, I'm glad someone brought that up :D . Was a funny video. I'm late to the party and very excited. I have my original bought in 1990 CE on the shelf (not mint, but it's mine :) ) and built a 2nd for a brushless runner this year, so don't feel I need another. But a...

Re: Front Hex wheels advantage??
Many good points made here on the + and - to hex. I've been on the fence about converting to hexes for a while. I have 2 old RC10s, and use the old style bearing in front wheels on both; but we also have a B4.2 with the hexes. I have 6 sets of tires for the old RC10s and have a set of wheel bearings...

Re: B/S/T approval
Well the 2nd message I sent today by eBay, never even showed up in my eBay sent items???? So I sent a 3rd one, by find member, then contact member, that one did show up in my eBay sent mail folder, and did forward to my real e-mail. So maybe you might get that one. I don't know what else to try. Oh ...

Re: B/S/T approval
Well, last weeks I sent to the wrong ID, so I understand why that did not work. IDK whats wrong this morning. I just followed your directions exactly, and I can't see it did anything different than what I did earlier this morning. Here the e-mail (actually eBay message) I sent earlier: Email referen...

Re: B/S/T approval
Thanks J.M - I understand. I have found this forum a great source of information. Some of the threads here are just astounding, from the tech info, to actual talk with "the guys" from "back in the day" (GREAT stuff). I've been out of RC (well mainly, did run my RC10 once or twice...

OK, tried again, hopefully got the right person this time. I really hate eBay messaging.
I also eBay messaged badhoopty yesterday, did I get that one incorrect also? That was probably the patience thing wasn't it?

Re: Reliving my preteen years, got me another RC10 gold pan
The stock steering "savers" show up on eBay quite a bit. Here is a std set on eBay in case you missed these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/associated-RC10-buggy-vintage-steering-rack-/140943951679?pt=US_Radio_Control_Control_Line&hash=item20d0ea073f $0.99 now, but has a few days left. I'd re...

Re: ASC9253 (B3/T4) Slipper Disk in a Stealth Slipper????
No worries, in the picture it really does look like they are mounted on the back of a white tower, when they are actually on the front of a black tower. I had a "What!!!???" instant myself when I looked back at that picture.
