So do I! I'm waiting for a company called Shapeways to finish and ship me some parts I had them make based on Niki's design. They are supposed to ship Tomorrow, but I'm not sure where they're located. At that point it becomes time to start assemblyflipwils11 wrote:Very interesting, I want to see more.

Re: My B3 Project - 15 Years Later
broodenburg, you're right, you've got to drill out the case and use a crush tube otherwise the inner slipper plate will not line up properly. Edit: It might on older shafts, but all of the plates and shafts I've used have not lined up straight, hence why on the B4 the slipper plate rides directly on...

Mayor RC/NIXconcepts Carbon Fiber Rear/Mid Motor B3 Project
Introduction: Mid motor has been "the thing" here in the PNW racing scene for the last few months. While it's awesome to see some innovation in the R/C industry, I still am not sold on most of the current kits. Having owned almost every "major brand" buggy that's been out in the ...

Re: My B3 Project - 15 Years Later
Have played a lot with settings on the car lately. Experimenting with things like spring rates, wheelbase, camber link lengths, ride height, and making good progress. Also made the move to a shorty lipo, which has given the car a bit more aggressive steering and much smoother jump landings. Also whe...

Re: RC10 Factory Works MIP 93' Worlds Racer Restoration
Wow, what a cool piece of history! Even better yet: It's in Portland! Hopefully I'm able to cross paths with you sometime to see the car in person!
Awesome to hear Mr. Moore himself get interested in the project. Maybe he has some of the old stickers laying around the warehouse somewhere?

It will, however it will be a tad short at the front. If you attach the body with velcro to the chassis, it will work great

Re: Thunder Tiger Phoenix B & T whats the scoop?
A good friend of mine just recently purchased one (Phoenix XB with Brushless and 2.4), so weve taken time and gone through it. The car is fully compatible with B3/T3 parts, so they use all the same bits, and those parts can be bolted directly onto the B3/T3's without modification. There's some chang...

I believe I have a new sticker sheet that hasn't been cut, but I'm not looking to get rid of it. I can photocopy and upload though should anyone have access to a printer if that works for you.

Hello Niki, Purchased some parts off of shapeways this week, and have a friend with a CNC who is cutting a chassis for me. Really excited to give it a shot! Will report back my findings for everyone to see. Thank you for designing such a cool car! I want one of those chassis, but no one in my area ...

Re: My B3 Project - 15 Years Later
A few coming soon. It's getting a new ESC and Motor combo (Actually used by Ehrlich to TQ and win at the IIC a month ago) as well as some other bits, a good cleaning. Switched to using losi 56 pistons, liking how the car feels. New track layout has the car unstable a bit at higher speeds, so I think...
