Unfortunately, there was no drink involved. I just enjoy the simple pleasures in life, and your Grasshopper is the definition of a simple pleasure.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 9:01 am Look, someone else likes wheelies!

Re: My latest project (scale garage)
Very impressive. I got a kick out of the "scale" trash in the trash can. I'd love to have a real garage like that!

And yet another quality DS! Great work! You mentioned a TC3, and then after looking at your DS it makes me wonder about a 4WD DS... Just a thought.

Wow, great progress! Removing paint from RC bodies is such an unpleasant and messy process. Looks like your results came out well.

Its so difficult, as a parent, to watch your child struggle through something. But the struggle often makes the results much more worthwhile, and it sounds like everything has, and will, work out for the best. I look forward to future updates from the Dadio family!

Re: Cheap chrome wheels
RPM makes (or maybe just use to make) several styles of chrome 2.2" truck wheels that fit the Jrx-T. Unfortunately, I'm not sure of exact part #'s. Also, HPI used to make some that came with adapters to fit several different makes/models of trucks.

Re: My Super XXT Runner Build
Thanks for the update on the "pin" durability. I'm very interested to try this out on some of my vintage buggies. Problem is, I'm not sure where to find round X-section trimmer line. Everything I find locally is always some other shape with corners (star, triangle, etc.), to better chop th...

Too bad the stadium truck wheels wouldn't work. But your progress has been very satisfying to follow. I get frustrated too easily with similar projects, and I probably would have thrown everything across the room a long time ago. But you stuck with it and hit the nail on the head. Great job! BTW, th...
