Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
A top shaft and slipper pads. I'm not even 100% sure they go together, but they all fit together perfectly. Thanks for any info.

Re: It begins for A1003 reproduction
I had planned to buy a handful of these each year, if and when produced. Of course, I suppose I could just buy several handfuls at the beginning if that would benefit the project more. There are some pretty cheap 3D ones on eBay now, but my experience with 3D stuff has not generated great reliabilit...

Nice! I wouldn't mind seeing some underside and body off shots, too!

Re: B2 blackout!
As for the electronics, what about wrapping them in black heat shrink, then trimming out for the necessary buttons, plugs, etc.?

I've been waiting for another Jrx-2 to show up one of these days. You did not disappoint! I really like your use of "new" parts, and that paint job is fantastic!

Losi 40th Anniversary History
Anyone else watch these?
There are several interviews and lots of history. There are several "episodes" with hopefully more to come, soon. I found it fascinating.

Re: Team Cobra Trackside [Tire] Truer
I don’t have any knowledge about the tire lathe.
But after a little turning, I did nearly finish my pin drive arbor. ![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Re: Street Weapon help
At least you gave it the old college try; you never know until you do. I really like that body. Doesn't matter what's underneath. (Famous last words.
) Looks great, especially with those wheels!

Re: Team Cobra Trackside [Tire] Truer
That makes sense. Thanks for the info. I think that the two opposing, partial depth holes on each of those arbors was throwing me off. I assumed that they were for function, such as for clearance over top of screw heads. But maybe they are just for weight reduction/aesthetics.

I agree that this is a very cool project. What was your motivation for such an undertaking?

Re: Team Cobra Trackside [Tire] Truer
These are the two arbors/adapters that I just can’t figure out. They are the same, except that one has a roll pin and the little "hubs" protruding out the one side are different diameters. Anyone have any ideas what these are for and how to use them? 625E2FB8-B501-4B2B-9EF9-E64A3B5067D2.jp...

Re: Team Cobra Trackside [Tire] Truer
Thanks for the info on this unit. I’m not expecting to perfectly true everything. My racing skills don’t benefit from perfect tires anyway. Here are actual photos of mine, along with all the arbors. I’m guessing they’re just for various wheels, I just can’t figure out what wheels may fit some ...

Team Cobra Trackside [Tire] Truer
I bought one of these sometime within the past 2-3 years ( ) and never had time to use it. I'm now gearing up to mount and true a plethora of foam tires for pan cars, gear box cars and 1/14 - 1/18 scale oval racers, so I'm trying to set this thing up. I'm not new to lathes or truing RC tires,...
