To be honest, the easiest way to convert it over would be to start with a full RC10, swap the nose plates/front ends between chassis, then the rear suspension/shock tower shocks. You will end up with a DS and a Nitro RC10 buggy :)

they were used on TRX1 and others with the rulon slipper pegs. probably blue eagle, trx3, rad2, ls, ls2, nitro hawk
SRT, early Bandit/Stampede/Rustler - the slipper pegs were also used in the nitro cars.

Have you seen the car that Masami is pushing lately? He seems to get around the track quite well with it (the offroad, not the amazing 12th scale he is working on).
