Re: TA02 Datsun 240z rally car
These old school cars are making a comeback! I love them! Going to get me a Datsun 510 BRE soon, on a Cup Racer chassis!

My '89 RC10 Masami Replica - This is special!
I posted this rc10 before when I got it. It's a 1989 RC10 Graphite. I've since got some new parts for it including a new bodyset which I painted in Masami's colors. I also had decals copied. So what's so special about this one, I am sure you ask? A lot have copied Masami's 1989 car!? Well this one i...

Re: Help ID this Kyosho
It's a pretty good car that can easily take the stickpack. At least give it a good try before you decide on selling it on. Wheels are easy to get from the Lazer ZX5 and the arms are pretty tough but would you break 'm I found some tamiya arms that are very close in dimensions. Hi Mr Ed! I just got ...

Re: RC10 Graphite
Scr8p, do you think if I filled thel holes and re-drilled, it will hold? Picked up the idea from your chassis restoration posts using the 3M stuff.scr8p wrote:someone drilled the holes out WAY to big. that metal plate is actually just a template to drill the holes, not to mount the trans.

Re: RC10 Graphite
Thanks scr8p. Tsk, that ruined that chassis for the stealth tranny! I'll just go with the six gear. The stealth is missing some clutch parts anyway.scr8p wrote:someone drilled the holes out WAY to big. that metal plate is actually just a template to drill the holes, not to mount the trans.

Re: RC10 Graphite
Thanks aeiou! Can someone help me out on how the stealth transmission should be mounted on the chassis? (turned out to be used and not new) The instructions that came with it does not go to that extent. Only assembly of the tranny. Does the metal plate in the picture (1st pic) have to be placed on l...

Re: RC10 Graphite
Thanks for the welcome guys! I was able to get the buggy last Saturday. It looks complete and in good shape. White parts quite discolored though and the metal parts have rust on them. Planning to dye the white parts black. Elbow grease should take care of the rust. I'll be taking better quality pict...

RC10 Graphite
Hello to all. Well, after a short stint with an RC10 Gold Tub that I was able to get and moderately restore last year, (I sold it eventually! Why oh why?!?!?, these buggys are so hard to come by from around here in the Philippines!), I came across this RC10 Graphite, still, locally. A new friend had...
