Re: My first Yokomo - a YZ-10, 93 WCS poss ran at 93 Worlds
Gary the front outdrives are specific to the wcs i had both sets at one time and there are 2 different part numbers one for the wcs and one for the 94 onward yz10. peter As Peter wrote, the front, rear and centre pulleys on the Yokomo WCS are specific for this car. They are M2 Pitch, 51 Tooth and u...

Re: YZ10 Carbon Fiber parts ID
Hey Andy, I can't confirm who made the chassis but a good guess is that it is a 'Team' item. The extra cell slot on the left side and the enlarged portion around the front right area of the chassis suggests this was done to allow more room for the steering servo and receiver. Judging also by the top...

Re: YZ10 Differential Help!
Hi Dan, As Fakiee said, it is a good question. On the Works '93 (which uses the same outdrives as the WCS only on the rear), the manual indicates that the female outdrive (longer or left side outdrive) goes into the deeper recessed side of the pulley. Now, on the 1994 YZ10 which uses a front diff se...

Re: Masami 91 Yokomo 4wd
Hi Tiger, Here are some rare shots of Cliff Lett's winning 1991 IFMAR 4WD car courtesy of R-NO (thank you for these photos). I cannot confirm if he used the same specification as Masami's 4WD but by all the photos I have seen of both Masami's and Cliff's car, they appear to be the same. R-NO can pro...

Re: what is your favorite yoke buggy?
Nice idea for this poll 59burst
Out of all the list you provided, my favourite is the 1993 WCS. Essentially a prototype that was made available (in small numbers) to the general public and was designed around Masami Hirosaka's driving characteristics.

Re: from what yokomo
Those 'plates' came together with an optional front anti-roll bar kit for the Yokomo YZ-870C.
As you mentioned, it is a similar piece to the '93 Works version and also goes between the front bulkhead and plastic bulkhead cover.

Re: '94 yz10 and pavidis runners
To Hairymuffin, The reason the rear part of the 2 piece top deck does not fit is because the top deck is upside down. This option top deck was designed for the Pavidis Edition Yokomo (your model is the 1994 YZ10) and the Pavidis Edition chassis has one of the top deck posts mounted further forward c...

Re: found the collecting item, but don't know what car can us
Are they the same type of screws that i've seen used sometimes to mount the front shock tower? Good eye DerbyDan. I have tried to use the same length versions as Crusaderlyf has but they are too long for the front shock tower. You could cut them down or use the shorter (aluminium slotted) kingpin s...

Re: found the collecting item, but don't know what car can us
Hi Crusaderlyf,
Those kingpins can be used on the Yokomo Works '93 bellcrank system. They hold the trackbar onto the steering bellcrank. For the Works '93 they were option parts and as far as I know, are not used on any other Yokomo offroad car but maybe the touring car range.
Hope this helps.

Re: found the collecting item, but don't know what car can us
The pulleys on the 1994 YZ10 (also Pavidis) are 33 tooth items whilst the 870C and Works models are 35 tooth. The 94 YZ10 diff outdrives (front and rear) are also specific to this model and are not interchangeable with the Works models. By the way Crusaderfly, that kit that you have came standard on...
