Looks great!
Here are the pics of mine... put it together a few weeks ago over the holiday break. I still need to tidy up a few items (add shims to the susp, trim body posts, etc).

Re: Attention Tod Fisk....
C'mon... how much weight would have been saved by drilling a dozen 5/16" holes out of an already light aircraft grade aluminum pan? Then how much weight would have added back by lining it with vinyl paper? I bet the weight savings wouldn't have gained a driver more than 4 seconds of run time on...

Re: Kyosho Triumph ready for resto
Gave the Triumph a closer inspection tonight and it appears the previous owner hot-glued the receiver to the bottom chassis plate, and the ESC switch to the top of the tranny. Booo...
Fortunately, I have a NIP bottom chassis plate and tranny case when it comes time to reassemble.

Re: Shelf queen or not?
If the 'A' stamp tub is in great shape, save it for a later project for the shelf. The existing dyed parts can then be moved over to a used ebay tub. Then you'd have your runner, and also have a good 'A' stamp ready for a future project intended for the shelf...

Re: Blackfoot collection..
I love it! The Blackfoot single-handedly owned the monster truck market before Traxxas took over the RC planet.
Great bashers, and parts were EVERYWHERE! Oh, and they started the racing truck craze... I love me some Tamiya Blackfoot.

Re: Kyosho Triumph ready for resto
It appears to be some kind of vinyl that the owner glued on. The original under cover (TM3) is gone. I'll have to add that to the list of needed parts.

Kyosho Triumph ready for resto
Finally had a chance to give some attention to the Triumph I recently picked up for my circa '92 - '93 collection. I might not have time to dig into it for a few weeks, but I'll keep this thread updated as the car progresses. First impressions: - Car is complete without any major damage. It's a good...

Wow Bob, looks like you're sitting on a gold mine for those of us that drool over vintage Schumacher!
I'll be keeping you in mind if/when I'm able to find a Cougar2.![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: Removing decals?
Should any special care be taken when removing decals from carbon chassis plates, or can these same methods be used just as described (heat, WD40, etc)?

Nitro Hawk - let go after all these years
Just sold my Nitro Hawk to make room for other classics, but wanted to post pics as one last nod of recognition. This was my first nitro as a kid, and it had many upgrades added over the years. - full bearings - bearing steering - MIP Stinger exhaust & shock tower - CVDs - Engine heat sink back ...

Re: Starting new circa '92 2wd buggy collection
Kyosho Triumph is on the way! Should be here next week. The Triumph is complete and appears to be in 'runner' condition. Also includes Tekin 411 ESC and Green Machine motor. Should be a good starting point for restoration. I'll start a new thread with details and pics in the next few weeks after it'...

Team Car vs Worlds Car (black pan)
Does anyone know when AE replaced the black 'B' tub Team Car with the black 'C' tub Worlds Car?
