I've been working on this for the past couple months and thought I'd get some pictures posted.
The intent is to piece together something that resembles an off the shelf Stealth had AE decided to release it in 92/93...
Thanks to Jeff for giving me the lead on a few parts!

Re: Triumph Discussion
You can still find all the needed parts to piece together a triumph tranny. Take a look at the Optima Heaven ebay store for the main components. The clutch discs might be difficult to find, but I've heard of others using Traxxas clutch pegs or you can use the Durango clutch setup mentioned in this t...

There's a great sticky in the RC10 forum. http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=13059 Each variant of the RC10 is itemized, and differences are noted for each version. Compare your car's components to those noted in the sticky to help determine originality. Based on your pictures, you'll ...

Team Shock Springs
I currently have 2.75 green springs on my 1.02 bodies with internal spacer. But the springs are too long for that setup and bind a little when compressed, causing them to rub on the shock bodies. Are there better spring options for the 1.02 shocks, or do they simply share the same "rear" s...

Re: Contemplating a big change in direction in the hobby
Interesting conversation... I'm actually headed in the opposite direction in this hobby. For years I was giving attention to 'runner' RCs that rarely got used. I didn't have any emotional attachment to them, so I finally decided to turn my attention and money to the cars that I actually wanted... th...

Re: Dyna Storm Ready for Refurb
Picked up a lower chassis deck and disassembled the car to get things going. While pulling things apart, I discovered that the rear suspension mount screws were seized to the retaining nuts, and one of the wing mount screws was also seized. I was able to salvage the rear suspension mounts by drillin...

Mirage Bodies - history
Does anyone have the history on the various RCPS / Proline Mirage bodies? I'm specifically looking for the years which each was available, along with any variations within each version's production run (with scoop, without scoop, etc).
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: 'USA' Stealth Tranny Case #6565
Ordered 2 from Stormer last week. They arrived yesterday and were the correct 6565 case (not mislabelled 6564).
I'm all set.

Re: Tekin sport tcs 408
That was Tekin's 'entry level' ESC in the early 90's. I ran one for years in my RC10CE without any problems. They were a forward-only ESC, and if I remember correctly, could handle down to about a ~18T motor (but I could be wrong on the exact rating). You shouldn't have any problem running stock mot...

Re: Are the re re's now done?
I sure hope so. They produced a non-milled black anno rere chassis, so hopefully they put it to use in a 10T rere kit.
Or, maybe they'll make dreams come true and give us a real treat with a TQ10 rere!!!

'USA' Stealth Tranny Case #6565
I just checked the AE and Amain websites and found that the 'US' (non rere) Stealth tranny case #6565 is now out of stock.
Does anyone know if AE plans to continue molding this part, or are we now left with the Chinese #6564 case?
