Re: Help! Need advice, been bitten by the classic RC10 bug!

Hmmm, you know I was thinking of the 10t as they are much cheaper. So if I got the 10t I would need to switch to dynatech arms, i assume new turnbuckles and ? Also what is the deal with the 10t nose? I see quite a few with it that have a closed top shock tower which I do not like. So I would also ne...

Help! Need advice, been bitten by the classic RC10 bug!

Okay, I swear i just signed up here to get advice to update my B3 buggy, but now I feel myself drawn to get a classic RC10  ! Of course I want it to be brushless and race ready! So I think it would be best to try to locate a worlds car or at least a car that already has a stealth transmisson ...

Re: Need help! Window masking

Well I ordered a Thunder Tiger sticker sheet and will use the window stickers as window masks, I will use them to make templates so I can cut out window masks from the stickyback vinyl for future use. Will let you guys know how it works. Thanks for the advice.

Gearing help RC10B3

Asked this in the RC10 buggy forum but maybe it was not the best place. I took the advice of those that answered my question regarding updating my B3 to brushless. I purchased a Castle SV2 sidewinder and 4600 4 pole motor. What gearing should I have on my car. I believe the car has an 81 tooth spur ...

Re: Need help! Window masking

Hmm, think I will try the pencil technique, if that fails guess I will order a decal sheet. Thanks again for the help and suggestions.

Re: Need help! Window masking

On the Thunder Tiger site it shows the decal sheet and it has paint masks, but when I look on tower I dont see them on the decal sheet, but there are stickers for the windows, I figured I could use those inside the body as paint masks? What do you think?

Getting my B3 up to date

Okay so I just purchased a Castle SV2 sidewinder and 4 pole 4600KV motor, will be getting a new 2.4 radio, lipo and charger in the near future. Any recomendations on what pinion gear to use? I believe it came with an 81t spur, should I be changing the spur as well? I have also read about updating th...

Need help! Window masking

Okay, I am not good with an exacto and tape and have tried applying liquid mask but am not confident that will come out great either. I have an rc10 b3 and am very reluctant to try my hand at masking the windows as I know it will come out like crap. I ordered a body from tower as it said it came wit...

Re: ? about JC Racing RC10 B3 wheels

Cool, I dont mind a little ballooning as there are not many wheel options for the B3. Not a huge fan of the dish type and from what i have read the duratrax and thunder tiger options are not as durable as the originals.

Appreciate it,

? about JC Racing RC10 B3 wheels

I am interested in purchasing some of those cool 5 star JC racing wheels and see that they offer some for the B3. I am wondering though if they are made for the standard B3 or the team version with the MIP cvd axles? Also the front rims are marked narrow? Does that mean i wont be able to mount stand...

RC10 B3 converting to brushless

Hello, I have read threads here but am stll not sure what to do? I have an RC10 B3 that I want to convert to brushless. I will be running it for fun on the street. I guess from what I have read that I need a sensored motor, and do I need an ESC with a fan? They look very thick and not sure if it wil...
