Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Thought about that! Saw some rally and short course guys do that. I wanna put together some inner fenders mostly for looks. On another note I took the BroncoBuggy out for a hard run and am super pleased. Need to tweak the suspension obviously but she did awesome despite. She steers hard off throttle...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
I might then again I might not. The tires tuck up front and dont quite need to in the rears. If I find a good donor for some lexan flares I might do it. I got some from a Proline Bronco for my scaled bronco using the same body as this buggy. We shall see, I'm always tinkering.

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Shes a runner! Finally got some dogbones in that work so I swapped the electronics from the runner Gold Pan and took it for a spin. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v103/66sprint6/66sprint6s%20album%202/2012-12-14_18-09-55_660.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v103/66sprint6/66sprint6s%20album%...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Silver gold bronze (thank you Olympics!) And many many other awesome colors shapes and sizes available. My buddy actually makes the ink for them so I get all the new stuff when it comes up and also get custom colors if I need it!

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
These are regular sharpies and they do rub off with alcohol or time and abuse sometimes but there are oil based sharpies that are more permanent. To get straight edges I just use masking tape on the windows and a steady hand and a fine sharpie for doors and body lines. The headlight surrounds came c...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Used to speckle brown paint on the windshield and scrub the wiper marks out! Fun stuff, scale details are fun. I've got paint that rusts that I add to damage on my other rigs as well which is fun too!

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Kinda diggin the orange/gold paint so I think its gonna stay for a while. That said, the Scaler freak in me couldnt leave it alone and out came the sharpies for some detailing! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v103/66sprint6/66sprint6s%20album%202/2012-11-30_18-22-06_40.jpg http://img.photobucket.c...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Its Parma I believe called Fiery Orange Metallic or somethin similar. Its lexan spray paint from the local hobby shop. I use it along with red, brown, black and silver to paint the inside of my scalers so that when the outside color gets scratched it looks like a big rusty scratch

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
Sad thing is...I measured a couple times then ran the number thru Google to convert to MM and was pretty sure I had the number I needed. HA, yeah right. I measure the exact same way I did last time and got a totally different number. We shall see, got some 45mm dogbones on the way, see how close tha...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy
HA! I was just jumpin on to say that I have the body in paint as we speak. Like I said before, I decided to scrap the idea of stripping the body entirely and just started cleaning it up for paint. The inside has been painted and the outside is cleaned and waiting on me to mask it and paint it. I thi...
