I saw a comment on Facebook stating something to the effect of Losi finally coming around to re-releasing XX-series chassis. Is this a legitimate story and/or did anyone who attended the JConcepts vintage race hear anything along those lines?

They have benches and power, but you'll have to bring your own chair. The benches are on the taller side, so you won't really be able to work on your car while sitting down.

Just saying...for $150 in Vegas, you can get a happy ending without racing. Wrong city to host an R/C race.

Wouldn't it have made sense to release a touring car first and then stack another gearbox to the rear in a follow-up release? Maybe they think they can sell more product by releasing the semi first. To me, though, all I see is a pretty interesting budget touring car chassis coming later in the year....

I'm not sure why you guys want a soft compound tire for a loose packed, loam surface. Soft tires are to conform around small irregularities of a smoother, harder surface to get grip. On a loose packed, loam surface the pins need to penetrate and push against the dirt. On an extreme end, think about...

Jconcepts is coming out with a 2.2 Step Pin style buggy and truck tire in dirt compounds. Hopefully available before the race. I plan on running those with ribs up front.
