Re: Which old skool esc?

I used to be devoted to Novak so I really can’t give any other firsthand advice. My first esc was the NESC-1 and then the T1. Problems started off soon enough as 1987-88 were the years where the motors got a bit too hefty for the T1. Typically we used 15-17 turn in 4wd and 17-19 in 2wd matched with ...

If you add some neon shoelaces that some of us used to kick around in back in the eighties, some would say cool, others ugly - still vintage shoes, but no doubt an unoriginal hop up. New era true soles? Yeah well, as ...

Re: J.M's vintage C.A.T 4WD lot

For sure I can follow in your track with the pros of the CATs. For me these cars maybe (no definitely) exceeded my heaviest crushes on girls in my early teens. Fantastic collection!!

Re: Shelf queens and oils

Prefer no oil and from time to time I have shocks I don't get rebuild parts for or simply won't use new rebuild parts on. As a former watchmaker I would recommend silicone grease. Used it on all sorts of o-rings in watches. It's keeping gaskets (and shocks) smooth for years. My personal preference i...

Re: Vintage RC car museum exhibition – Norway

Very nice :) But now my neck hurts  What have you got written on the cards? Each car has it’s own text (in Norwegian…). To keep a text ok to read, the number of words has to be kept fairly low. Depending on the cars role or character I have therefore put different emphasize on themes as histor...
