Re: RC car museum exhibition – Norway. New go on page 4!

At last I'll try to follow up on this one... As mentioned in a post above this exhibit was going to be moved. It did, and the new opening took place on the 24. of August. This time I also did some redesign of the exhibit. Some new features, a few new cars and some cars were taken out. Various info o...

Re: Procat 'parts bin special'

Really like the looks of your Procat. Clean build and a proper old-school-no-fuss paint scheme - love it!

Re: Procat 'parts bin special'

No idea, although LurkingCAT suggested they may be Nodis. I'm pretty sure the layshaft is Nodis. Got two Nodis layshafts, one for Topcat/Cougar and one for the CAT at home, and I'm good as 100% sure on that one. There are only two aluminium drum diffs I know about - the PK Corally and the Nodis. If...

Re: Team Xtreme Predator X11

It's getting to be old News but I have to say the closing up of Team Xtreme is very sad. There is no longer a possibility of ordering from Team Xtreme - their paypal being closed. As mentioned earlier in this thread it was expected, but now I'm really fed up not stocking up more spares  Have a ...

Re: my Carlsson collection

Congratulations from the other side of the border! Very good to see the Comet added to this fantastic Carlsson collection :D It would be a true Jack in the Box to see a 2wd buggy from Carlsson. I think the Comet was first shown at the Nürnberg toy fair 1984 and you could get both an off road and tra...

Re: Peakey's Procat project

That steering turned out nice. Ok fit and geometry? For me I think I would og the de-anodising route, but looks hot bling in purple too :D

Nice to see the progress of the build. Even though one has to go two steps backwards to get one step ahead :D

Re: Dan's ProCat runner/racer project

I spent some time & £ getting these... Totally up to my taste as well using fiberglass on this build. Gives that special Schumacher engineering feel from back then - priceless! If you can't get any good bell cranks, what about going Luke inspired in fiberglass? Fiberlite did his design in carbon...

Re: Back in Time - XLS For Vintage Racing

This might be old news but just a comment on the gearbox plates. The left one (on picture, right in car #T073) is for the Procat, the right one is the hard to get for the SWB and XL (T072). Some people are very interested in the latter. If you put them on top of each other you will notice a differen...

Re: Back in Time - XLS For Vintage Racing

Sounds like a very nice piece of build! The T079, and the 77 for that matter, are very hard to come by. At the moment I can't help you... I'm also going to do an XLS build but first have to finish some other projects. In my part of the world we now have the Nordic Vintage Challenge with some differe...
