Re: Leaking Shock Cap - Suggestions Needed
you could always take the pressure off the shocks and the tyres by displaying the car with wheels off the ground - a plastic margarine tub sprayed up to match the cars colour scheme works well if you don't want to shell out on car stands or perspex boxes. All of my RC10s sit on old E-Maxx wheels. :)

Re: Leaking Shock Cap - Suggestions Needed
I would rather have oil in my shelf queens.................but if they don't have oil they can't leak  I'm with you on that thought process. I've often contemplated leaving shocks empty and bushings/bearings dry on my shelf queens, but it just wouldn't be right. Nearly all of my RC cars are k...

Re: Leaking Shock Cap - Suggestions Needed
I personally would swap caps with another known good shock, that will tell you if it is the cap or the body that is at fault. Just my $.02 I was planning to do that very thing unless someone has a suggestion that doesn't involve opening two shocks. I'm not sure why, but working on shocks has always...

Leaking Shock Cap - Suggestions Needed
Maybe some of you have encountered this before... One of the rear shocks on my late model (all black) RC10 Worlds car will not stop leaking between the cap and body. I have replaced the O-ring three times, but doing that has not helped. No damage or defects have been noticed on the cap or body. What...

Re: For The Fun Of It
I have one of those! It has a modern brushless setup. Maybe I should post pics? Absolutely! Post some pictures in this thread. I doubt that I'll be building my kit in the foreseeable future, so it would be cool to see what a completed car looks like. I found pictures of another member's Telesis car...

Re: For The Fun Of It
Cheetah Telesis conversion? You are correct... I found this in my collection the other day too. That was an insanely expensive conversion kit! http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y512/ChisaiKuso/RC%20Stuff/IMG_5424_small_zps76bdfb67.jpg http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y512/ChisaiKuso/RC...

For The Fun Of It
I obviously don't post here much myself, but it seems rather dead in the on-road section of this forum lately... :( For the fun of it, let's see how knowledgeable you guys really are. How quickly can someone tell me what this is a picture of? http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y512/ChisaiKuso/RC%20...

I have black nose tubes and a black Litespeed Litesink for the build. I'm not so sure about using a black nose plate though...

Re: ChisaiKuso's RC12i Collection
Note that I have the original wheels and tires sealed in a bag to better preserve them. They are not shown in the pictures below. very nice collection. one question regarding your 4020 rc12i. did those rear wheels/tires come with the blue dot sticker in the kit? Thank you, littleVETTE. You probably...

ChisaiKuso's RC10DS
It's like Christmas in July! I was surfing eBay the other day looking for some RC10 parts I need. I came across an auction for a NIB RC10DS (listed at $1000.00 ... seriously?!) and literally let out a loud sigh while thinking to myself, "I really wish I had one of those in my collection." ...

I'll keep working on this thread little by little. I promise to add more pictures as I can, and eventually I'll replace the existing pictures with some better ones.

Variations
... Here is an interesting variation on my "survivor" RC12i with the front shock suspension. Notice the placement of the camber tie rods. http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y512/ChisaiKuso/RC%20Stuff/IMG_5366_small_zpsa1e7ac78.jpg Now look at the front shock suspension that is usually fou...
