Re: 'Doctor Death' RC10T

Very nice score! Nice to see you getting into off road as well, love your builds! The 10T is the best truck ever! Seems like the guy had a RC10CE as well, and you ended up with the trans, papers and wheels! Get in touch with him and see if he has what's left of the CE! Thanks Rod! I came to the sam...

Re: 'Doctor Death' RC10T

Be sure to not use those rare front tires, especially those big knob fronts. Only seen those from the original ad back in the day. Nice find, keep'er original :) Thanks man! I most definitely won't be using any of the original tires for running. I'm going to restore her just the way she is all stoc...

No hurry on the chassis, work has me pretty busy still anyway

Excellent! The detail on that body is fantastic. The blower looks almost scale on that beauty.

Re: Team Blue Groove

Send them the vega! That would be cool!! I could find a build for that one for surr I'll e-mail TBG in the morning! I hope they'll do it as it's such a cool body. I seriously want to build a 12E funny car with a brushless lipo setup. There's bound to be a few accidents with that setup you know lol....

Re: Vintage AE's Toyota GTP RC10L

Looks sweet! 8) Those wheels really set her off. I flip flopped on polishing them. The polished look flows with the rest of the polished parts but I'm still not sure if they will take away from the "sporty" look once the body is complete. IMO, chrome looking rims are for show and an alumi...

Bodies are up! I see my monte, jag, toj, and Harris as well as lots of other cool stuff like the bullet, and a bolink funco that I NEED! I'm gonna be placing a big order again  I've already picked up a TOJ for my 12I! I'm glad you offered those bodies to TBG as this will benefit everyone. I wo...

'Doctor Death' RC10T

After reading through the truck forum I decided that I just had to have one. So after a few months of watching the bay I ended up with this baby for $75.00 bucks. The owner said it was still running when he put it away twenty years ago. When the mail man dropped it on my door step I grabbed an old 3...

Re: RC12E clone runner project.

Time for an update on this thing. It's a runner! Well, it will be after I work out the bugs anyway. After the bugs are sorted out I'll just need polish her up and finish trimming the body and get it painted. Then it will be time for a trip to the track to see how she does. Can't wait! Shor...

I think those cut down front wheels were popular back in the day as I have several of them.

Very cool car tommy2c!

Re: RC12E Runner #2?

I'm not worried about the chassis as it's rough anyway. It's the perfect time to make a copy of it. I'm in no hurries either so you can take your time. You can use .125" Plastruct from Tower Hobbies for bumpers and radio trays. This is what I used to make the bumper on the 12e clone. It's the p...

Re: RC12E clone runner project.

I love that sigma! And the porsche....there is something about that paint that just looks killer!!! Yep, the Porsche really caught my eye and those old shcool numbers really look cool. I've been trying to find pictures of that Sigma painted up , but have come up short. From googling I know that the...

Re: RC12E Runner #2?

I think that's the infamous "keyhole" chassis. I don't have one of those to use as a pattern  The bumper looks like the older large bumper but if you say its light I bet someone made it. I'll get that chassis to you this week. Copies are a good thing. I think the bumper...
