Re: i've got to tell somebody....

This thread is kinda funny, cause we're in the same situation. We're going to be having our fourth in March of 2014. Praying for a manchild this time, I've currently got three daughters. We haven't told anyone yet either so tight lips guys! Oh, and congrats!

I agree with you on the sidewinder body, never liked it either. Good luck on the rebuild.

Re: My RC10CE runner build

Finally.....an update. Got a little bit more done. Front and rear shocks rebuilt, done with most chassis work. Next step is getting electronics sorted out and installed. Hopefully I'm done with collecting most parts, my local LHS (a HobbyTown) closed up and now there is nowhere here to buy anything....

Re: Anyone feel the new kits, specifically the B4.1 just isn

Having never had a newer Associated vehicle, but owning "other" brands, the hobby is all about plastic. Not that that's bad, but dang I miss the old style cars. I don't race anymore, just tinker really, but I do miss the old days and all the different companies who were making aftermarket ...

Saw that. Crazy. That's all I used back in the day, as well as present. I bet I still have 15-30 half empty cans in my collection.

GREAT looking car. And yes, love seeing the action/race pics. Being used like an RC10 should be.

I agree as well, bench time is very therapeutic. Enjoy your build time and enjoy that World's car.

Re: Hi and here's my RC10CE (nothing special, but I like it)

Very nice, I'm in the same boat. I need another RC10 so I can have one shelf queen and one runner. I love the color scheme, that Tamiya gun metal is one of my favorite colors, I used it and white on a couple of my scale crawlers.

Looks a lot like the project I'm working on right now. I am jealous of your chassis, mine is discolored in spots.

Re: 55 Chevy Shoebox

Glad you found it! I dug up my old issue (Oct 87) and was gonna scan it for you but I guess you're good to go. I should go track down that body and see if I can find it, it's the original Bolink body. Good luck on your build, can't wait to see how it turns out.
